Consolidated CoH I21 Information
great... now I can't find it... if it even exists.
It's totally possible that I'm making that up, long nights scrolling through page after page of different forums and all that. So until evidence is found:
BR and StJ will be released with i21.

Hey everyone.
Instead of trying to uprez cellphone pictures or squint to see all the details of the presentation we did at San Diego ComicCon, I got permission to make the presentation public via the Prezi website. So, if you have Flash enabled, you can check out the presentation (without our lovely voice overs, sadly) here at the Prezi website. Click the right arrow to move forward through the path, left arrow to move back, and you can click any part of it to center that part. |
I've already forgotten about most of you

well you can be pissed preemptively. We've already been told it won't come until a little later.
http://yfrog.com/ke1wrdej Apparently CoT are getting a face lift as well. |

Great compilation!
Do not like. I like Legacy Circle of Thorns MUCH better. What happened to all their wizard robes? WTF is with this tights )=
|
Give us back CoT with robes please. Go back to the drawing board on this one and don't come back without CoT in Robes. Not Tights. Not armor. Not big spiky bits.

Yeah, Titan Weapons is the set we will not see for a while after. STJ and MeanBeam will be available but depending on how they adjust prices, you may have to wait another month before you can purchase it for free. Otherwise on Day 1 you can purchase with the use of real money to buy STJ and BG
|
I was being a little facetious when I said I'd be angry if StJ wasn't available on day one, because I'm pretty sure it won't be.

I do think that Paragon Studios is going to want to soak up as much of the extra points we've built up as current subscribers on opening day, however. Giving us two Premium sets, as well as a the Circle of Thorns costume set and whatever else they have in store is a good way to do that.

HMMMMMMMMM. Based on what is posted here.... maybe a Fire/Time would be a really really potent set. If it has a heal+ petbased regen, then you can slot +end proc and proc on all the people affected by the regen ticks.... Wow. In general, I wonder if this would be awesomesauce in the way a dom is. Constant action, high versatility.

I thought I read somewhere that Time manipulation was going to be for Defenders, Corrupters, and Masterminds. It didn't occur to me until just now that this excludes Controllers? Did I read that wrong?

Why the heck were they wanting to adjust the CoT? I could understand the Hellions, Gravediggers, or Outcasts, but the CoT really didn't need a new look. They're still one of my favorite villain groups, and are a nice change of pace from the tights look that the one image we can see here. That look is just... depressing.
Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking
Story Arc: Belated Justice, #88003
Synopsis: Explore the fine line between justice and vengeance as you help a hero of Talos Island bring his friend's murderer to justice.
Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory
Hellions need it pretty bad, as they're a major focus for the first few missions once you get to Atlas.

Posi did apparently say this at one point:

RE: CoT costumes
Massive thread about it with more pictures and Posi commenting. The one picture here is "ok", I guess, but the others shown make them look like Power Rangers to me. I didn't realize how bad, and unnecessary, this particular change is going to be.

A few questions for those that went to Comicon.
Are the new costume slot purchases global? 800pp per slot per character seems excesive to me I think?
Also... Zone Teleport. How exactly does it work? TPs you to the adjacent zones? It brings down a list like the Train and give you access to all zones you have visited before? I love teleport, so I'd like to know a bit more about this!

I'm also not sure where in the zones it TPs you to, sorry.

i was reading in another thread that possibly for all power pools they are letting us pick the 3rd power without a prerequisite
IMO i think they are only doing this for the travel pools, but i was wondering if anyone heard about the other pools

I also know that the T4 & T5 in the Flight pool unlocked at 14 instead of 20, but required 2 prerequisites. Can't remember for the non-travel pools if they unlocked at 14 as well, but I know that Weave still required 2 prereqs.
EDIT: Just found out last night, the other pools being available at level 4 was unintended. Oh well...
