Who is going from VIP to Premium?

Over the years, I've had up to 4 accounts active at a time. My current state is 2 active.

I expect accounts 3 and 4 to be VIP only. Account 2 will probably be premium, Account 1 definitely will be premium. I do like the idea of 4 other accounts that I create a 50 for, just to be able to start tfs/sfs.

My second account is currently unsubbed and will be coming back as Premium. My boyfriend's account is currently unsubbed (but will be subbed up again before Freedom as we bought him GR that he needs to apply for the 2 slots) but will be dropping to Premium. My main account will probably waffle between subbed and unsubbed, just like it has for the past two years...it just means instead of having no access when unsubbed, I can still come in and talk to ya'll in global channels.

Well my main account will stay VIP, but I just bought Going Rogue for a second account I'd cancelled long ago, in preperation for Freedom, so I guess if you're asking me if I'm going VIP or Premium... I would have to say yes.

And having me want to go out and purchase Going Rogue for a previously cancelled account, it's pretty obvious that Freedom is paying off for them already.

I had stopped subscribing, so I'm not used to the incarnate stuff, and I won't miss it. At this point I reupped to get some credits towards buying stuff after Freedom, and get a head start on playing some again.

Basically, I can start playing the "old" game for free, and with 66+ months in the bank will likely have access to enough not to miss what isn't there, and I can buy content a la carte. For someone who was also happy not playing, it's a no-brainer.

I don't play enough to justify a subscription anymore, but I can still play: win for me. I will probably buy stuff a la carte, so they get some money from me rather than none: win for them. There's more population on the servers: win for you.

What I want to know is why... after I posted that I was definitely going to stay VIP... I got 23 private messages from people trying to convince me to go Premium?

I think it has something to do with losing your Forum access if you're not VIP... hmmmmm....

I will remain VIP, and my wife will become a free player. So neither one of us will be premium.

My second account will be Premium. Main account VIP.

Maintaining status quo.

Been playing the game a good while but I'm giving Premium a good amount of consideration. As much as I've loved this game I can't say that I'm too pleased with the current focus on raid-type end game.

It was new and exciting at first but now it just feels a bit boring. Joining a large mass of players and just standing around spamming powers gets old after a while. I prefer smaller groups because it feels like my contribution actually effects the outcome. I don't necessarily hate running trials but I can't stomach running them over and over considering the little variation involved. If this is the future of 50+ play then I just don't understand. 'You are now a god-like being however you need even more people to accomplish stuff'.

I'm hoping that the new signature story arcs, possible new non-raid end game content, and hopefully an 'Incarnate Challenge' setting for existing TFs will keep me a VIP for years to come.

Either way though, I'm sure Paragon will end up with my money in the end.

ill keep paying for my normal account, but i do plan on picking up some free accounts for multiboxing

My current main account will be flip-flopping between VIP and Premium depending on what I'm doing.

My former main account, the EU one, will be Premium and because I was subscribed to it for so long will have access to the Controller, MM and WS characters which is nice.

I'll be doing premium to see how I like it. If too much stuff I like appears to be inaccessible then it's back to VIP for me.

I'm going to maintain a VIP, a Premium and a Free account.

I will be paying. I need all of the cool new stuffs.

Next question: Does the fact that you will be able to "buy off" the restrictions placed on Premium accounts using your already earned "Vet Rewards" change any of your minds either way?
