Who would you pick as your 2?

If you opted out of the VIP service for whatever reason, how would you pick your 2 characters? I know for some people, it would be pretty easy, but for many of us alt-o-holics, it would be quite difficult.

For me, I would probably pick my Burnt Matchstick tanker on Pinnacle, which is my most tricked-out character as far as IOs and Incarnate stuff. And I would pick maybe one other lower level character for me to advance on, maybe my Tundra Spider crab on Virtue, but that second character would be a very tough choice indeed, and I would really want to get back to my VIP service, or buy more F2P character slots ASAP (which probably wouldn't be an option if my reason for dropping was monetary.

I'd keep my Brute on Virtue for certain. Beyond that it'd be like Sophie's Choice!

I...don't think I could do it. But for the sake of the hypothetical, hmm, I'd probably feel compelled to keep my namesake character, especially given how much I've invested into him. I'd also really want to keep Prince Hamlet, my DB/Invuln Scrapper, simply because he's just a bunch of fun to play. There's a reason those two ended up my two Incarnate'd heroes. 'cept...dangit, that doesn't leave me any villains. But since I don't see myself giving either of them up, I guess one would have to take the plunge...

My namesake so I can abuse the markets and my IOed out Incarnate Kat/sr. Would I like it? Oh hell no.

My main scrap (CrippleCommando) and Brute (Robomination), both on Guardian.

I'd have some extra slots though, due to Vet Rewards, so I'd also be able to get my DP/Elec blaster and Kin/Sheild scrap on Virtue.

I'm planning on staying a VIP, but if I didn't I'd probably use one slot for my main and the other slot for a low level character I enjoy playing.

Technically, any of us on the forums today will be Premium accounts and we'll have more than two choices.

However, if it was just two then I'd pick The Artiste, my first and still main (Ill/Rad, only lvl 50) and toss a coin between Van Ellen, my second most played hero (Rad/Rad, nearly as old as Artiste) and my most played Villain, a Hunter-style VEAT (Dorn Dannison).

No contest... Pally and Kes (Palrah and Grey Kestrel) are my blue- and red-side mains for a reason. They're my favorites.

I'd miss all the others, but I could still play for quite awhile and be happy with just those two.

Hmmmmmmm.

I honestly don't think I can pick two. (Or, technically, four - I do have two accounts.)

I'd probably end up with something like two doms, a blaster and a tank. Or a controller. Or...

I think I might quit playing if I could only play two. Sure, I have my mains: Major Decoy and Admiral Whiskers, and they are fun to play, but there's not a lot left to do with them. I could do more trials, I can certainly spend more influence on their builds. Maybe even have alternate builds. But there's no more plot to be had.

Riiiiight, like I'd really want to limit myself like that. I'm staying VIP until they shut down the servers. Why? I like Masterminds and Controllers way too much.

Not sure I could go without my:

1) Traps/Dual Pistols Defender
2) Force Field/Elec Defender

Man, I love Defenders... can't wait til Time Manipulation primary.

EDIT: I consider #1 DP primary because of the way I have him built for damage (was rebuild of old blaster)

I'd keep Flitz (obviously) and Lead Hose on Union. I'd shift Red Rag to Defiant and then spread my other alts out across the other servers before switching to F2P.

Except I'm gonna stay VIP.

VIGILANCE Captain Caledonia 20 - Yeah, I made toons on the French server coz we only had 4 back then (might have to transfer/recreate them on one of the US servers)

There isn't a choice for me. As the "I will pay real money for that!" guy, I see no reason to not stay VIP. If for whatever reason I was physically and practically incapable of doing so, I'd find another game altogether.
