He has a lot to be angry about and when he gets angry things around him tend to catch on fire, which doesn't help. He's been used and manipulated by pretty much every villain group in the Rogue Isles and has learned to take what he wants and to hell with the consequences. Get in his way and he'll take you down because he believes its either you or him.

Rose Bloodthorn is a plant so who knows how she really thinks. She understands what man has done to the environment and considers it a declaration of war. As humans started the war, she has no compunctions about killing them.

Konkurrent is a Russian assassin who kills people with electricity. She's pretty amoral but sees what she does as just a job.

Like it, except for the tucked in trousers!
  3. I mistyped the name of my new supergroup on Freedumb and only noticed it later. I sent a support ticket but was informed that this is not currently possible. Any chance of getting this added in the future, even as a paid for service (using paragon points).

I really don't want to disband the SG and start over again.
  4. To the people who took time off work just for the DXP weekend: get a life.
Levelling in CoH is already ridiculously easy and the end-game consists of grinding the same missions for iXP. Use your unexpected free time to go outside, take your significant other out for dinner, etc.

For those of us, including myself, who can now attend the DXP weekend. WOOOHOOO!!!!

    The Dead Pool

I'll put my 500 inf on BAB going out in style while defending Galaxy City.

    Free Going Rogue

The same thought did cross my mind as I just resubbed for 7-year anniversary and then bought GR and a couple of boosters.

However, in line with what Roderick states in his post - my main will have his incarnate slots open and slotted up by the time this happens so it was worth it for me to buy the expansion.

    VIP server

I just don't get why everyone seems to think they need to move to the VIP server. There are already enough trolls in the game - just take a spin by your local AE or Freedom Court in Atlas - so while having more F2P players means more trolls, it also means more good players to team with.

I have no plans to move any of my existing toons from their current servers (well, maybe the ones I created on Vigilance) but will create a few alts on the VIP server. I was thinking of a rad-themed toon called the Over Reactor, so please don't take this name if you get there before me.
  8. I'd keep Flitz (obviously) and Lead Hose on Union. I'd shift Red Rag to Defiant and then spread my other alts out across the other servers before switching to F2P.

    Except I'm gonna stay VIP.
  9. Lead. An unending stream of hot, burning metal that generates lots and lots of lovely orange numbers and can pull the aggro even from an Ice Tanker.
  10. Flitz:
Step into null time, take a gentle amble to location family is being held, step back into normal time, save family, step back into null time, amble back to bank, step out of null time next to fleeing villian, arrest with prejudice.

    Lead Hose:
Shoot villain, call in 1AT to dispose of remains, go rescue family.
  11. Not done anything that bad on CoH (yet) but I do keep buying stuff when I mean to sell it. Durr!
  12. How could we forget someone named after Scotland's other national drink. I just came back myself and have been exploring Incarnates, Praetoria and a bunch of other stuff as well as teaming up with some old friends from the 1AT who seem to have never left.
  13. Widow: Poison Tomorrow
    Crab: Annie Hill-Layton (Annihilation)
  14. I hid out in Praetoria with a few of the 1AT to get badge. Logged off around 01:40 once we completed the mission after we got the badge. There was no way an old man like myself was going to make it five in the morning just for the chance at a cossie code.

    Lusca

    Poor old Lusca.

    [old man mode]
Kids these days got it too good. Back in my day, it took three full teams to take down the squid. And you'd still end up with two and half levels of debt. Now any old team of silly names can take it down with no faceplants and without even using insps.

  17. My main is MA/SR and made it to 50 with Flurry as part of his attack chain. Was it easy? No. Does he still die all too easily if things go south? Yes. Is he still fun to play? You bet.

At low levels, I made the most of the soft control from the old Cobra Strike (low dam, high disorient), backed up with the exta disorient chances from thunder kick and flurry. Target boss/lt, click Cobra Strike, move in and smack the boss/lt, switch target to minions and beat them down, smack boss with CS again if needed, rinse and repeat. Need to pay attention and get the hell out quick if you take a couple of big hits.

At higher levels (when you get Dragon's Tail), you can focus on boss instead and DT the minions to keep them down - it recharges pretty fast. Try not to get swamped or you run the risk of too many attacks getting through. Avoid / prioritise def debuffers (rularuu eyeballs were the worst) just like khelds do with quantums/voids

I just respecced (still had fitness as a power pool rather than inherent) and finally dropped flurry for the fighting pool. However, I did keep the 'flurry' veteran power (Sands of Mu) in his attack chain for old time's sake.
  18. While I sympathize with Z, all my toons of level 20+ earned their capes. I always do the cape mission soon after I hit 20 and create a new costume with a cape for each of those toons to show that they have graduated from noob to hero/villian.

So whether or not it's was designed as an incentive to get people to level, it something that you had to earn. However, what I would be okay with is that once you have one toon at 20 then capes are unlocked for all future toons.

    I miss......

    I miss the Precision Rangers.

    [/ QUOTE ]

QFT. And the rest of the 1AT hero SGs. Team GBH is pretty much just Flitz these days.

I also miss old debt, teams that do player missions NOT just paper missions (DDs being the exception here), Luska and the other GMs.

However, I do still regularly team up with some of the other 1AT regulars on Thursday nights for a bit of deviant action on the other server. So I'm still having fun!

Just an aside: "Getting to level 45 in six weeks is easy"? "100 million inf isn't hard to come by"?

Am I playing the same game as everyone else?

    [/ QUOTE ]

My thoughts exactly. Took me two years to get my first 50 and another year to get the second one. And getting 30 million inf for that last LotG recipe on Flitz took about another six.

    Time Bomb

Don't have trip or time bomb on my AR/Dev. Partly because I was going for a theme, partly because I heard they weren't much good. I took Gun Drone instead, but even it doesn't always get used when I'm teaming.

    LFT

The Precision Rangers might not be as active as we used to be, but the base is fully functional (and recently redesigned) and there is still a solid crowd of 1AT members playing regularly on Union and Defiant. We might not be as organised as the Clean Handprints, but we do have a lot of fun.
  23. Had some numpty drive by one of my alts in Talos this morning, spawning purple mobs at my door. At least, I managed to drag the spawn back to him before faceplanting. GRRR!
  24. Having created a team on Vigilance for the specific purpose of building a solo SG, I have since discovered that at least 2 of my many alts have become the sole owner of a SG base. And that's not including Flitz, who has been maintaining the Team GBH base as 'interim' leader for about a year now! I really should start recruiting.
