Add possibility to change SG name

Been asked for before. I don't know if it's technically difficult or they've just never instituted a procedure to do so - it does, I suppose, affect more than a character name change - but if it's not "do this and it'll break everything/lose everything in the base/etc" level difficult or problematic, I'd love to see it as well.
I believe the official response is that they don't do it because of the difficulty in ensuring the request is legitimate. This was before they had the idea of a SG Owner though.

I have heard that it's possible for them to generic a SG. idk if it's true, but I heard it.
Also, maybe when/if we get the option of transferring SGs to different servers they'll add the re-name option?
The best we can hope for is that it may be an option post Freedom-launch, and I will certainly be hoping.

positron did say in a u-stream chat about the I21 VIP server, that they were looking into allowing SGs to change servers in the future, renaming would have to be an option of that since you cant have 2 SGs with the same name.
I would not doubt that when we get one we will get the other. So i dont think it is completely off the table just not the top priority at this moment.

Would love to have the option to change SG names. I've inherited some in the past that I had to abandon because I couldn't change the name.
I even have a VG that was created just to hold the name I want until I get the ability to change my "real" VG's name.
I lost my VG when my computer broke over the Xmas holiday. I assume the guy I left in charge simply raided the storage and deleted it because when I got back in March and found I was booted I tracked him down and saw that the SG title was no longer under his name either. I checked and the name was free. So instead of getting pissed I just made a new Hero version of the old SG and I've been filling it up with Praetorians for the 100k bonus they get for the first SG they join.
I mistyped the name of my new supergroup on Freedumb and only noticed it later. I sent a support ticket but was informed that this is not currently possible. Any chance of getting this added in the future, even as a paid for service (using paragon points).
I really don't want to disband the SG and start over again.
