  1. if you are permadomed you wont need a demez, keep one breakfree available for the rare chance that something will break through dom and you will be good to go.
  2. before you go any farther. What are you wanting from this build? I assume permadom and survivability.

    While many will disagree, I don't subscribe to the softcap S/L defense side of character builds. I tend to focus on raising my Hit points, Regen and resistences. a lot of hits may get through but they dont hurt as much as having a big hit slide past your defense. I also focus heavily on recharge and boost my damage output with my alpha incarnate

    Also there is no need for the medicine pool on a fire/psi dom if you need aid self your doing it wrong..IMO

    This is my current live build for my fire/psi. it is an expensive build, but you could substitute the purples with other sets tweak it here and there and still be good.

    I would have to say no. In its current form it is abundantly clear as to what forum you need to go for AT specific info. any change would complicate this. Just because the game is going free to play doesn't mean the new players coming in, or veteran players that seldom use the forums are somehow less capable of understanding the format.

    as far as the other areas of the forums, I can see where they need some consolidation.

    one thing would be nice is if posts such as builds could be automatically flagged to appear in a dev digest like page . example I post a build in the dom specific forum and it puts a link in the build digest so that all the builds for any at can be seen in one location, but they are still stored in the AT specific forum.

  5. positron did say in a u-stream chat about the I21 VIP server, that they were looking into allowing SGs to change servers in the future, renaming would have to be an option of that since you cant have 2 SGs with the same name.

    I would not doubt that when we get one we will get the other. So i dont think it is completely off the table just not the top priority at this moment.

  7. I have always run the loader with the "-COV" at the end of the command line to make sure I got a red COV load screen. I tried this on the beta server pic stays the same but music still changes to villainous music.

    because nowhere do the developers or publishers of the game, say that linux is a supported platform. They aren't giving you the finger, they are just ignoring you, because you dont matter( Linux players) in the grand scheme of things.
  11. I use the Dr. Letharga teleport bind app for teleport, and I sometimes use it to bake a bind then change the power inside from tp to rain of fire, or tarpatch, or whatever other drop location aoe.

    one of the nice things about the letharga bind is it suppresses FX so that you can see clearly where you want the power to be dropped and so that lag doesent interfere with your clicks when you try and drop the circle

    do a forum search and you should find more info on how it works.
  12. This program is awesome, I truly hope they work out the kinks in it.

    I just want to preface this by saying, I have always believed that I have little artistic talent. Before now Ihave never used any kind of 3d art software. This program has sparked me to rethink my abilities. Check out what I made with about 1 hour of total work time and a lot of system crashes.

    Yes we were number one long ago, SG was shut down and mothballed long before Crazy 88's ever came on the scene. I am actually the only member now. and we have been inactive since I13 killed PVP, since the majority of our members PVP'd regularly.

    Not bitter. never liked the idea of an infamy to prestige conversion, from day one. I am actually quite impressed that the 88's have been able to buy as much prestige as they have.
  17. I primarily stick to the BAF with my doms, but I have no issues with the lamda or keys either. My Fier/psi/fire dom is permadom and with the 3 level shifts, and with all my pets, I can lock down any one of the prisoner spawn points in the BAF solo. I think thats a pretty usefull.
  18. IMO they should have never let prestige be purchased in the first place. If anything the ratio needs to be made more steep to discourage marketeers from buying their SG to the top. Right now its 500:1 need to make it 50,000:1 which would be 100,000,000 for 2000 at the SG recruiter
  19. its been doing that for me also, for a very long time now. I dont remember when it started. Its not a big problem, just slot other stuff and eventually they will all be in view and accessible again.

    sorry this is a raid game now, the "GAME" now starts once you reach 50 and start incarnate stuff


    plant/ pairs well with thorns, but IMO /thorns kinda under performes compared to other sets. I would go with/fire or /psi for the plant. I have no clue on the elec/ since I dont have one.
  22. wow, just downloaded and tried it out. its pretty impressive. was able to sculpt a pretty decent face in about 15 minutes. For someone who has talent, unlike myself, I can see where this is a very powerful tool

  24. as long as the game does not turn into a P2W model, where advanced enhancements, recipes, etc.. are available to buy with real money... all will be fine.

    If it does go that route, then I know plenty of peeps, myself included that wont hesitate to go elsewhere.

    We will have to wait and see.
