It definitely looks like they decided to take a more "realistic" approach to the story. The original movie played up the campy 1950s styled horror film vibe that came off almost as a spoof of itself. This one seems to be taking itself a little more seriously. Might be worth a rental at some point. *shrugs*

Looks interesting however I wish they had more Peter Vincent in it so I can see what Tennant does with the character. Peter Vincent is what will make this a Must See Theater watch for me as opposed to a rental.
Seems like a cross between Rear Window and Lost Boys. I'm worried Colin Farrel will ham it up too much, though.

That's....a lot more serious than I expected it to be!
Can't decide if I like it or not yet, and precious little glimpse of David Tennant in the trailer as well.
Could be interesting though.
