I really liked this episode. My one question is: Who/what is House really?

To be honest, she was quite cool about it all.

A crochety doctor with a gimp leg, pain killer addiction and a really smart mouth. Oh yeah and a terribly formulaic and repetitive television show.

In my household, whenever we get a sudden realisation, we're required to pull an odd face then wander away muttering and limping before revealing our sudden discovery. We call it the 'House Moment'.

fixed that for you

I don't like formulaic shows since they don't seem that much different than Mad Libs.

House can be phrased as:

For n=1 to n=x
{
The <medical treatment> to the <body part> didn't work.
Must not be <medical condition>. Try <new medical treatment> since it must be <new medical condition>.
n=n++
}
It was <new medical condition>. House was right all along. Let's bow to his medical superiority and regret being inferior to him.

If each episode can have most of its dialog written as the same Mad Lib, then it is not a well-written show.

Doctor Who is well-written since there are many episodes where you can't predict what will happen next in the episode and keeps you entertained for the ride most of the time.

Just saw the episode and it was wonderful. Suranne Jones was wonderful as Sexy.

I was very very tempted to post a pic of him and say: "Not that guy." Because I saw that one coming.

Oh, and can we refer to the TARDIS as Sexy from now on?

Yes and No. Any reference to the intelligence controlling the TARDIS has to use Sexy. Referring to the blue box or any Time Lord's ship is still TARDIS. For example, Sexy takes us to the end of the universe. The Doctor lives in the TARDIS. Although, I suppose it would make for some interesting dialog. The Doctor lives in Sexy.

On second thought, it would depend on what Sexy is. If Sexy is a living organism that controls the TARDIS, then Sexy and TARDIS are two different things. If Sexy is the mind and TARDIS is the body, then we have to call the TARDIS Sexy.

Is it? I aways thought it was pronounced GUYman.

So did I, but everyone pronounced it GAYman on Confidential, and since they were working with the guy I'm guessing they got it right. Plus I think he said he name too, but I can't remember.

Maybe just me, but it sure sounded like, "I love you..."

This was most definitely one of my favorite episodes. I'm loving this season so far.

The actress who played the TARDIS was amazing. "My thief! Where's my thief!" I loved it.

I think this may be the reason for the semi-pregnancy. He has Schrodinger's sperm,Thus Amy has Schrodinger's womb.

Infact i think by the end i rather liked it. I think they handled it just right also in that really everything she did was really related to being the tardis. It would have been alot worse IMO to have the TARDIS longing to keep her human form and so on as they could have done.

"The only water in the forest is the river." cant help but think that means something especially since there was no other sighting of the eye patch lady or other forshadowing in this episode.
My best guess is that Digitized River Song in the forest of the dead now has full access to her suppressed Silence memories,and will prove a most valuable resource to the Doctor after she dies.

Yeah, GAYman is the correct way.

There's a clip somewhere of him giving a speech to a GLBT scifi group, and he opens with a joke that one of the joys of speaking to such an audience was they get excited just by hearing his last name pronounced correctly. (there was much laughter from the crowd)

Plus when I was in the Neil Gaiman Trivia contest at Penguicon 2.0, he was reading all the questions, and that's how he said it.
