I have to wonder if the guys behind this anime series were influenced by City of Heroes.

What do you guys think?

Can't tell due to Hulu being only a US thing. The Internet is not supposed to have these idiotic boundaries.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

Saw it a few days ago, but I haven't watched it. The concept reminded me more of Mystery Men than CoH, though.

I just watched it. Looks interesting. I will definitely be keeping up with it as it continues.

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

My first thought was The Boys comic book by Garth Ennis

Loved the first 10 minutes, kinda meh on the last 10. I'll definitely keep watching unless the whole thing becomes meh.

Yes, don't support this kind of stuff by linking to it. It's especially idiotic when trailers are region locked. It's even more ridiculous when the show was made in the country you wont let people watch from(Cartoon Network I'm looking at you).

This sounds entertaining. Don't watch too many new anime series like I used to, but I'm going to have to at least give this one a try.

Heh, they use their costumes for advertising space. That made me laugh.

I can't watch anything on hulu either so can someone tell me or message me the name of the anime so I can at least look it up on you tube or google it. Please? Thanks. Nevermind, I am an idiot sometimes... it's Tiger and bunny right?

Confirmed altaholic with 70+ alts in coh and cov...yes i know thats alot! Playing coh since beta test phase.

Necro Post!
I figured it'd be easier to use this post than start a discussion in the recommendation thread.

Episode 16 Was amazing and introduced a very interesting plot reveal. Lunatic the vigilante has a very interesting connection to a certain famous Hero.

While I'm here I'll add;

I'm serious. Doesn't make any sense to me either.

The Main guy, Kotetsu's Hero name is Wild Tiger and he calls his partner Barnaby, Bunny
Although as Father points out you'd figure it out anyways.

Yes, figured that out after watching I think the second episode, 3 MONTHS AGO. Thank you for playing.

While that idea is still funny it's not exactly new. Like Lord_Nightblade said this all sounds more like a play on Mystery Men than anything else:

It'd be funny if we could have a "chest emblem" in CoH that would simulate this.

been loving this series so far...not sure if it will be a single season series or if there truly can be more to it.

Yeah, episode 16 was great. Looks like in the next episode we find out what happened to Kotetsu's wife. Should be good stuff.

That's funny you just had a post about this.

Well for what it's worth like I said this idea isn't exactly new - I thought about having a NASCAR/Mystery Men styled "chest" emblem for this game years ago. I figure the only reason it wouldn't work too well is because our costume creator probably can't easily put patch-like labels around our shoulders, upper backs and necks without accounting for different body sizes. Oh well...

I've really been enjoying the series, I think they did a great job so far.

The Skyhigh episode made me feel so sad for the guy.

Just looking at the poor guy sitting on the bench with his huge pile of flowers waiting for the girl. I can't help but shake my head and think "dude... you poor sob."

It's better he never learn the truth

Sorry to Necro a thread but if you've been following the series the true villain of the show has finally revealed himself, and Kotetsu (Wild Tiger) is on the run having been framed for murder by the main villain..

A depowered (or is it depowering) Kotetsu.
