What comic book movies would YOU make?
Badger. Definitely Badger.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
Azrael (Jean Paul Valley) ....you could play up the angle of him struggling againts his programming of "The System" and have the main villains be The Order Of St. Dumas...
I started a screenplay and will message it to anyone who wants to read the few pages I have written...
"A great love is alot like a good memory. When it's there and you know it's there, but it's just out of your reach. It can be all that you think about. You can focus on it and try to force it but the more you do, the more you seem to push it away. But if you're patient and hold still...maybe...just maybe...it will come to you. I just need to be somewhere she can find me" - Church from Red vs Blue
Hmmm, my short list:
Green Arrow
Arsenal
Nightwing
I'd love to see The Maxx brought to the big screen. I have no idea who could pull off the look of the Maxx though.
Ambush Bug....what you were expecting someone else??? lol
You only fail if you give up. - Dana Scully
Time Jesum Transeuntum Et Non Riverentum - Nick Cave
We're not just destroyers, at the same time we can be saviors. - Allen Walker
4: Atari Force (both the mini comics version that shipped with some of the 2600 games and the regular DC full series)

Damn, you mean I'm NOT the only one who fondly remembers that series?
Final Straw, DM/Regen Scrapper
Solari, Fire/Fire Blaster
Real Americana, MA/SR Scrapper
Task Force Timmy, Grav/Rad Controller
Astral Paragon, Spines/Regen Scrapper
Mr Drama King, Katana/Regen Scrapper
Psi-Stunner, Psi/Mental Blaster
Personally, I'd do a Flash/Green Lantern triology. Jay/Alan in the first one, followed by Barry/Hal and then Wally/Kyle for the wrap-up.

Had this idea for a movie called Nightstockers. Basically, it was a world where superheroes and supervillains exist and a good portion of the world had some type of superpower. However, not everyone had superpowers so they had to work the same jobs as we do. According to the title of the movie, it would be based around the night crew of a store. Could get some interesting characters like Gorath, Destroyer of Worlds. There is not much money in destroying worlds so Destroyers of Worlds has to work somewhere. It would be interesting to see how superpowers could translate to real world situations like taking out the garbage with a Death Ray. Also thought of adding a cameo of a person looking like Deadpool and/or Wolverine since they seem to have the superpower of being in almost anything.
The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

The Alt Alphabet ~ OPC: Other People's Characters ~ Terrific Screenshots of Cool ~ Superhero Fiction
Elfquest.
Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell): if Marvel won't bring him back in the comics, let's at least get a movie going. Maybe have a scene in a military base and on a shelf is a cannister of the Compound 13 nerve gas as a subtle joke. If done right this movie could set up a sequel where he faces THANOS. For the first movie it'd be Yon-Rogg and a Kree Sentry for the foes, start him with white hair and then for the sequel he gains the cosmic awareness and blonde hair remake.

Batman Beyond: time for a live action movie. |

Rumor is that The Avengers Movie will deal with the Kree-Skrull War
This. Though I would do it after the Last(Next?) Nolan one |
Yes Batman Beyond should be after the Nolan's are done.
Was thinking that we should also wait until Snipes is out of jail then make Blade 4: the apology for Blade Trinity.
Captain Marvel. For crying out loud, it's Harry Potter crossed with Superman. Why has this not already been made?
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.

Or due to the fact that he was very much inspired by Superman back when Fawcett Comics made him and DC just hates that.
Or lack of interest.
To be honest, DC might want to start considering Captain Marvel/Shazam as a movie character and main comic character in case the lawsuits with the Superman creator estate goes against DC.
Erm... it was a rhetorical question, but since you answered...
Possibly due to licensing issues as Marvel has the rights to publish a Captain Marvel comic, while DC has a character named Captain Marvel.

DC doesn't know what to do with the character. Cap's also one of the few "big" DC characters to have it worse than Wonder Woman in that respect. For that matter, Cap's rogues gallery get more panel time than he does.
This is possible. There was rumor a while back that DC was going for a big CM push with a cartoon and the movie and all kinds of stuff. But Trials of Shazam bombed, the movie got stuck in development hell, and Billy and Mary have been stuck in comic limbo for ages. The only freaking Marvel Family characters appearing in an ongoing now are Osiris and Isis, and said book is one of the crappiest DC is putting out right now.

Elfquest and Neil Gaimon's Sandman
No one pays attention to me, cause I listen to the voices in my head.
If I could only have one? Transmetropolitan as a limited HBO series.]
But then again, there's lots of things that would make great pay cable HBO or Showtime series: Planetary would be interesting, but 100 Bullets would probably be a guaranteed hit with the right director and translation to the screen.
I would love to see an Earth-X animated series, but I'm not even sure that would work. It would be cool if it could be pulled off though.
As an animated movie (I don't think live action would really do this thing justice), I would love to see The Books of Magic, Harry Potter be damned. But if you're not a fan of the material, it might not make sense to you.
But as a live action big screen movie? If I had the power to green light anything? Doctor Strange/Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment. It would never happen without a magical green light, and I think its one of the best stories rarely mentioned on a list of great stories.
[Guide to Defense] [Scrapper Secondaries Comparison] [Archetype Popularity Analysis]
In one little corner of the universe, there's nothing more irritating than a misfile...
(Please support the best webcomic about a cosmic universal realignment by impaired angelic interference resulting in identity crisis angst. Or I release the pigmy water thieves.)
Put me in the 'Transmetropolitan as a series' camp. Wait about a decade until Johnny Depp's lost his hair and put on some weight and he can even play Spider! Our goal here is to just eventually transform the man into a clone of Hunter S. Thompson.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Invincible (no way this could be tv. It's too larger than life [especially the battles] to be just on tv. It would HAVE TO BE a SERIES of movies. There is just too much awesome to cram into one)
Powers as a tv show (though I heard the tv show is coming soon)
Ex Machina as a tv show (I could see AMC rock this one)
Blazara Aura LVL 50 Fire/Psi Dom (with 125% recharge)
Flameboxer Aura LVL 50 SS/Fire Brute
Ice 'Em Aura LVL 50 Ice Tank
Darq Widow Fortune LVL 50 Fortunata (200% rech/Night Widow 192.5% rech)--thanks issue 19!
These are the comics I want to see turned into movies.
Valiant Comics
Rai
Magnus, Robot Fighter
Harbinger
Shadowman
Eternal Warrior
CrossGen Comics
Mystic
Meridian
Crux
The Path
New Universe (Marvel)
Star Brand (Ken Connell version)
D.P. 7
Psi-Force
Comico Comics
Grendel (Christine Spar version)
Triumphant Comics
Chromium Man
DC Comics
Firestorm
Captain Atom
Nightshade
Doom Patrol
Captain Marvel (Shazam)
Marvel Comics
Strikeforce: Morituri
White Tiger (Hector Ayala)
Ulysses Bloodstone
Shroud
Omega the Unknown
And a cosmic scale movie with either Adam Warlock, Nova (Richard Rider), Quasar (Wendell Vaughn) or Captain Mar-Vell.
The Phantom Stranger.....it would be really cool to see a movie based on this character...no one really knows what his "powers" are and he is mystic based.
Martian Manhunter......come on a character that is basically Superman and Batman rolled into one!?!?! This would be an awesome movie as J'onn J'onzz can shape shift and become anyone.
The Spectre.....an entity that is the Vengeance of the almighty that deals out punishment in accordance with what a guilty soul has done....
thats all I can think of right now....
