You won't get shards. You'll get double merits and either extra XP or a Notice of the Well (or neither, for a non-incarnate 50), just like the other WSTs.

WST is not just for incarnates.

It is for all players - that's why they grant double XP and the bonus merits.

You don't.
The Weekly Strike Task rewards:
- bonus XP
- bonus merits
- Notice of the Well (if you have your Alpha Slot unlocked)

Actually, I've been annoyed that the first three weeks were all level 50's; they're overdue for some lower-level WTF's.

Same. I don't mind having the WTS being a level 45+ TF, it's even somewhat expected, but I would like having it alternate between a high level TF and a mid to low level TF.

I'm actually glad the WST includes the lower level TF/SF. There are many that I've wanted to play but haven't been able to find a group for. Hoping this encourages more opportunity to run them.

This.

If they intended for the WST to only be for Incarnates, the extra XP would not have been part of it, because extra XP is useless to a level 50 character.

Also, it's not double XP, it gives you between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of an entire level upon completion. A number of TFs will give you more than that just from running them.

But the lower level players cannot recieve the "Notice of the Well."

I love Task Forces. It's my favorite type of Group Content. Anything that drums up interest in Task Forces across all levels and zones is a good thing in my opinion. Heck, anyone remember doing these when there was no real reward? I used to do them for badges and souveniers. Then people got bored and I couldn't get a group for them anymore.

I like that there are not just high level TFs. I may even finally get Task Force Commander on one of my 50s. Eventually. Although I take it as a personal attack that the first lower level WST is the one TF in that set that I have actually done...

Lowbies still get the reward merits and completion badge if they don't already have it.

Incarnates get the merits, the badge if they don't have it yet, and the Notice of the Well.

Of course, look on the bright side: they could say that Dr Q TF is a Weekly Task Force....

I'm curious to see how easy it will be for lowbies to get teams for this TF/SF. I know I will be running them at least a couple of times with my level 50s in order to get the NotW, and progress towards the badges, and I suspect lots of other folks will too.

Once I finish that I may be too burned out to run them yet again with lower level characters.

What difference does the level someone is make?

Are you expecting to see people looking for more and saying "Only Incarnate slotted characters"?

I don't know about you, but if they meet the minimum level requirement for the TF they are welcome on my team. I'm not going to refuse a spot to someone who wants to run it just because they aren't an Incarnate.

I will be sad indeed if that kind of elitism becomes common. Especially since it makes no difference at all on a level 20-25 TF if someone is an Incarnate or not.

Especially when running those lower TF's the Incarnate slotting makes no difference since it deactivates at that level.

Same. And almost every character of mine will love the double merit goodness instead of only my few 50's getting the chance.

I'm expecting a TF frenzy making IP last week look underwhelming.

Plus my computer handles the older TF/SFs better.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

We're aware of that. And we STILL think that it's a great idea to include the lower level task forces / strike forces.
