though i have no interest in this animal pack, and honestly the amount of "furry" adoration on these forums sometimes disturbs me, i do so hope that this pack is done well. because that should give some indication of the level of the steampunk pack right around the corner, and that i AM looking forward to. so, lets all hope for numerous pieces (i agree the last couple have been kinda lite on content for their price), all well done, no major clipping issues, and an obvious intent to utilize the graphics capabilities of this game to near max. this will all bode well for my impending steam punky goodness.
Oh yeah, that was the time that girl got her whatchamacallit stuck in that guys dooblickitz and then what his name did that thing with the lizards and it cleared right up.

I'm surprised Techbot of all (robot) people would come to the defense of furries (who are perhaps the epitome of fleshiness, fur covering fleshiness aside).

OOOOOKAY then, So how bout them patterns? I'm excited about a Tiger skin to use, i got a Katorian Character that I made a long time ago that I would like to make, only thing is his left arm won't be a gun like it's supposed to be, I'll just have to make him an AR or DP instead

David even said Jay whipped it up in a few days. That one addition almost certainly boosted sales of that pack far beyond what they would've been, based on the number of people who said they were now going to drop $10 just to get the tail.|

That's an example of a thing added to a pack at the last minute. I'll bet money that they're watching these threads closely and have added a few things based on feedback. There have been a lot of good ideas which would be relatively painless and easy to add without a great deal of extra work, such as a few different ear styles or beak styles. I also like the ideas people have had about fish and frog heads. I'd totally make a character based around those, and a frog wearing a hat? Are you kidding me?
So yes, they can absolutely make this pack far bigger -- GIGANTIC, even -- by holding off a couple more weeks and adding more coolness to it.

It's quite possible that they've given some website or similar the right to be the ones to first reveal what's coming in the booster pack. They've done such things before, after all.
If that's why they pulled the posts that show those images, then I can't help but imagine Black Pebble stalking through the Paragon offices, waving a cattle prod around and demanding to know who's to blame for this slip.

Those items are already in the pack, they're ready to go, so it's not like the old 'we didn't intend for you to see that, its not ready' excuse comes in (like say, the accidental reveal of the full list of abilities with then in-progress Incarnate system during Issue 18 beta). They use that in order to cover their backsides if we see something that's being worked on but they're either still working out the kinks or not even sure if it will be implemented yet.
For pictures of an upcoming pack it literally is a case of
Marketting: ARGHARGHARGH we didnt show you that, its not on our schedule, did we say you could see that! *snatch away* PUNY HUMANS!
Players: ....wha?
