I just hope there are a lot of pieces in the pack. The last few have really sucked hard and were not worth the money.

Look at it this way, 4 booster packs are the same price as Going Rogue. Have the last four $10 boosters had the same amount of content as GR? Yeah no. A bit of a rip-off, really. So, it'll be wait and see for me on this pack as usual

I'm happy with what's in the pack.

But the three or four areas that I'm probably most interested in aren't being touched from the looks of it... at least in Animal Pack 1...

Frog feet. Fish bits. Tropical bird feathers. Raven and blackbird parts. Still will be getting it. Beast run. Useful tails. The cow tail is awesome. The tiger and cheetah patterns are awesome. The rest of it is awesome, but not sure I'll be using it. But at least if I'm teaming with anyone, I'll most likely be enjoying how their character looks.

I'm glad I got to see the Minotaur before it was removed. Since that more or less means that was the real deal, these pieces are going to look *amazing.* Hoping it goes on sale soon. Like, yesterday.

Ok so has ANYONE heard a potential date for release? Been looking around on here, Facebook, and any other site I can think of (including some underground unofficial COH fansites) and cannot find anything. Absolutely cannot wait for the Booster. Even my wife is excited about it and she hardly plays anymore.

Still not sure if I'm interested enough to buy, but those are some really, really high res, high detail pieces, nice work.

If you don't want us to see them, don't post them on THE INTERNET.

This is classic ham-fisted City of Heroes advertising. God forbid anyone show any interest in this game.

If history serves any guide the Devs usually only start revealing this kind of press info on a new Pack when they are within a few weeks of releasing it. I'd be surprised if this doesn't go live by the end of February.

I'd like to voice a contrary opinion to the childish chorus of "release it NAO!!!1! -- listen gang, the longer they work on it, the more awesome it will be and the more stuff will be in it. i say let them take another month so that we get five kinds of bird beaks and three kinds of canine snouts and four kinds of canine ears, and fish heads and bull heads and horse heads (with multiple colors including zebra!) and frog heads and rodent heads and and and... whew.

Patience is a virtue and the longer it takes the cooler it'll be.

Hey, if more time really would result in such a difference, you better believe I'd wait.
I imagine (and this is just pure speculation) that what is in and isn't is a done deal at this point (whether the work on it is finished or not is a different story).
I highly doubt that more time would result in a drastic change (say, if they were just making monstrous heads with no detail options and no regular head monstrous faces/items/details/options... I don't think the producers will allow them to take a bit more time, add in those features and then sell it at the price they've surely already selected).

Regardless... I'm with ya on the patience is best and all.

I'm just figuring that the release date is set. Who knows... maybe I'm completely wrong about all that!

I'd be a little surprised if it wasn't coming this week -rather surprised if it wasn't by next week- just because they've clearly been getting the promo pics ready and it seems like that generally means they're setting up shop to sell it soon, but I could be way off.
