Future Incarnate Slots Renamed?

So there's a list of future (potential) Incarnate slot names posted here
http://goingrogue.cityofheroes.com/e.../overview.html

I seem to remember a different set of (potential) names listed there. I did a google search and I found in the past a discussion happened on this board where different names are being used.

http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=246700

Omega, Destiny, Lore, Hybrid are the possible names being used in that thread. Lore is the name I remember being on the going rogue page.

Does anyone remember a different set of names being listed on that Going Rogue page in the past?

As far as I know that page has not changed since it was released. The full list of slot names based on the in-game interface is:

1. Alpha
2. Judgement
3. Interface
4. Lore
5. Destiny
6. Hybrid
7. Genesis
8. Mind
9. Vitae
10. Omega

I totally forgot that information is listed right there in the game.

Apart from Alpha and Omega, which seem obvious and easy to see why they're called that, the other 8 are pretty interesting, I think - like what sort of powers, content and storylines will they be linked to? The Alpha slot was linked to the Alpha Strike, so maybe the Judgement slot in I20 is linked to the idea of the Incarnate Trials, or maybe the judge/trial link is too obvious?

I found these in game, I assume they are related to the Lore Incarante Slot.

So why would it be +50.00% to AoE Def when 45 is soft cap?

Sounds like they are for Pets. Looks like MM love.

Lore Allies
Support Ally

From what I've heard and seen on other leaks, the Lore slot gives you a pet. So these must be different buffs you can get on that pet.

Defense debuffs do exist, you know. Additionally, NPC pets have 75% ToHit like players, not 50%.

It looks like Mind was renamed Stance.

We've gleaned a few details from things that have shown up in-game. I believe it has been shown that the Lore slot will allow you to summon two pets, which may be based on existing factions--I think one Lore we found allowed you to summon Praetorian Clockwork allies, but I don't recall for certain. These pets may be either offensive or support types, and you can mix and match (one of each type or two of either type). The support pets don't attack at all, but they're also indestructible, as the Lore Protection power shows.

The Interface slot appeared to allow you to add a secondary effect to your attack powers. I think there was a screenshot of an altered enhancement screen that had an extra slot connected to the powers, but I can't find it now. Does anyone else remember it?

Of course, it's entirely possible this stuff is wrong, or that it will change before it's released, since it's based on leaks of things that are a long way from release.

Bodyguard was not in at the launch of CoV. Outside of their AI issues (most of which can be worked around) what would they *need* to look at MMs for?

Battle Maiden in the Apex TF and the DE in tip missions also have higher to-hit. War Walkers buff each other's to-hit. Ticked-off Bobcat has higher to-hit. The devs realize how insanely survivable soft-capped characters can be, and are designing enemies to compensate. I have no reason to believe they're going to stop anytime soon.

At first, I thought the Lore slot might be some sort of mini-system for making your own sidekick - but lore-related pets would be fun too - and it also might mean that the content linked to the lore slot might be based around using your pets - like a TF that was balanced more like a multi-team Trial, requiring the 8 people on the team to double their numbers with the pets.

Making MM personal attacks not suck rotting eggs, or at least suck stupid ammounts of endurance.
Bots Repair not healing before a pet dies.
Serum. Just Serum.

Oh, and pet customisation.

It would be cool if they were customizable, since it isn't tied to the already existing MM and other pet sets.

And take a look at things like minions, and lut pets dieing in 5 seks in things like Tin Mage, Apex, MS raid whenever something looks at them wrong.

Also the AI, so many things need to be fixed with the AI.

Castle removed the Jump Speed debuff from the MM version of Shadow Fall. Of course, considering none of the other versions of Shadow Fall had the debuff, and the debuff only applied to the caster, no to other players in the area...

Did Shadow Fall have that speed debuff in Beta?

Adding 2 pets? With MM that brings the max up to 9 (6 standard+ Dark Servant) plus the player. So you could end up on a team with 80 beings on your side. Even more if you count mission specific pet/NPCs.
