Mine:

1 - spend less time in the AE building... at least until they make some more improvements.

2 - Get at least two more of my Burnt Matchstick characters up to level 50.

3 - Write another good AE arc.

4 - Play one of my Praetorians through the new arcs and out of Praetoria.

5 - Switch sides on at least two of my characters.

Find a new favourite AT/powerset combination to level up to 50. I have a fire/ice blaster and claws/EA scrapper I love, and then a bunch of other characters who don't quite have that special something they both possess.

I've got a bunch of characters in the 23-28 range and then my 50's with a wide gulf between them. I need to get at least a couple of the lowbies moving up towards 50.

1) Actually sit down and create some of the AE arcs I've had swimming around in my mind.

2) Stick with THIS iteration of my tournament and NOT delete/recreate all my characters until at LEAST 2012.

3) Actually try this whole side-switching thing sometime this year.

4) I resolve not to make ANY lists in 2011!

1/ Stop buying into the solo softcap hype and build more efficiently.
2/ Get over my dislike of the new market UI and get back to serious marketing.
3/ Post less in the "for fun" section about minmax aspects of the game most "for fun" forum regulars don't care for.

I really need to work on #3.

3. Get some of my characters that are close to 50 to that point and then get them the Alpha Slot.

  1. Finally do a Task Force (Been here since I2, still a Task Force virgin)
  2. Complete my first Mission Architect story (I have 6 drawn out, none done)
  3. Resume my CoH comic guides as a regularly-updated web format before summer. ( I have dozens of pages scripted, some even laid out, but my pilot series involved mock interviews with devs... and I started with Babs, then he left, then adapted it for Castle... and... well, I'm changing formats before we lose any more devs... BUT I WILL DO IT)
  4. NEVER EVER EDIT BASES AGAIN... well, after I'm done with my hero one... and finishing off the Villain one... but I will NEVER SUCCUMB TO THE MADNESS AGAIN! NEVER.

Dang.
Umm... are your current tournament rules compatible with side switching? Just thinking that rule #3 might cause strife for rule #2 if it leads to some loopholes/exploits in the tourney process...

Hear hear! I've been with the game since Issue 0/1 and have ran a grand total of 3 task forces. A Silver Mantis post Issue 17, a horribly failed Lord Recluse Strike Force, and as of Friday, a near speed run version of the ITF. As such:

1) Make time for and run more Task Forces; maybe one a week.
2) Reach 50 for a third/fourth time.
3) Do *something* with AE other than run people's arcs.

I've been here since I9/10, and I lost mine this past year. My first time was a blast.

My resolutions: 1) finally hit 50 with my main, 2) level up my Praetorian.

Gotta agree with Shadow there I'm afraid. Those trailers sell the game so well, I wonder just how many subscribers have discovered the game because of them.

As for me:

1) To participate more in open RP plots on these boards and not to hide away in my own SG. This includes trying again at large scale forum RP. *gulp*

2) To continue to highlight EU server issues where it appears that we're being forgotten about.

3) To actually post some of my artwork and other creations and shoulder any criticism I receive with good grace.

4) To get my Earth/Fire Dom and my Kin/Ice Defender to 50.

5) To apply myself to IOing my Kat/Dark Scrapper in a way that makes him playable. (He was my very first toon 5 years ago so I kinda owe it to him.)

Find a way to actually afford this game. :P

Finish my AE arc that I'm working on.

Yes... current Tournament rules are compatible with side-switching... it's just non-permanent/only long enough to snag badges/only allowed for level 50 characters side switching.

I resolve to team and task force more often. Last year I was somewhat of a loner, but I'm going to get back to teaming more often (especially with my 50's for those lovely Incarnate shinies).
