Sorry to see you go, hopefully you are going on to a nice new job that allows you to continue to grow your talent. Thanks for being one of the more "vocal" devs out there, it has allowed us to enjoy our game that much more.
We really need to start doing some in-game stuff for our devs/forum mod that leave this game. I think it would be really cool to give them a send off.
With that in mind let's gather together in Atlas Park under the statue on the Champion Server and have our heroes lineup and /e salute as Castle takes a goodbye walk and he send him off in style.

I do hope this means you got a job at Bioware or some other place cool making the next great MMO.
I'm definitely going to miss your numbers-based analytical approach to game balance issues.
So many game designers and developers take a "balance it by feel" approach that it's not funny when you go into one of those games and get hit with a constant series of nerfs and buffs.
It's been quite refreshing to play this game, in contrast.
I hope your proteges are going to continue crunching the numbers rather than guesstimating by feel.
One of the highlights at Hero-Con 2008 was having you join us at one of the Guradian server tables during dinner. It was a pleasure meeting you that night.

While this sucks on a level that words can not describe, I have to say, thank you for everything you've done for this game. While I never got to meet you in person, I did enjoy the few times I got to hang out with you in various Closed Beta Tests over the last year-ish.
Of course, the memory that will stick out is during the I18/GR Closed Beta, shortly after Nova Praetoria was opened for testing. We found you there, and instead of testing, we gathered around you and pestered you. And you showed off some cool models, including Hequat, and, best of all, that boxy guy one.

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to send a note out letting you know that my last day working for Paragon Studios is this Friday, December 24.
Ive been working on City of Heroes in essentially the same role for six years now. It has been a fantastic learning experience and I have become a far better designer as a result of my time here.
Id especially like to thank all of you City of Heroes fans. I appreciate the passion that you feel for your hobby, even when that passion was, shall we say, directed towards me in a rather negative fashion? I have always tried to keep an open mind and treat your feedback fairly. Ive loved seeing what you have done with the tools we have provided you with. Some of the MA arcs Ive seen are brilliant and some of the base layouts are simply amazing. Ive seen costumes made that, quite frankly, are completely beyond my ability despite having access to the exact same tools. Then, there are the wonderful people Ive met at Hero-Con and Meet & Greets. It has definitely been my pleasure to work with this community.
In closing, Id like to thank you all for the good times and putting up with my sometimes surly nature. Going forward, Synapse and Black Scorpion are the go to guys whenever you have a powers or entity related question or problem. Feel free to direct your inquiries to them here on the boards and they will do their best to address them. Ill have PMs turned on as Castle until 12:00 Pacific, Friday, December 24.
