You have 40 level 50's. Do you even play them all? Perhaps, you can work on them at a slower pace and just have fun.
I have 28/29 level 50's and only one incarnate, and really, not worring about the others since I don't play them often (will likely get the 2nd with my new Corr)

Eh. I was satisfied with being finished at 50. But nooooooo...so many people kept pressing for more, specfically not just content but more stuff to do to advance your 50, stuff that would take a while so they could keep playing abd getting tangible rewards for their 50, not just influence and recipes.
So here we are. It is, by design, supposed to take a long time. That's the only reason it was worthwhile developing; if everyone finished it in the first few days after release, it would be pointless.

My play style has not changed with Incarnates and I already have one toon with an uncommon boost. If the focus of your playing is for shards... I think it tends to frustrate you. My focus when I play this game is... to have fun. Drops of any kind are simply a bonus. I have approximately 12 50s all of whom are purp/iod out... no it wasn't NOW... but it happened

If the devs decided to give everyone solid gold bricks the OP would be here complaining that they didn't give him a wheelbarrow to carry them in.

You can't even GET shards until you are level 50 and have run the arc. If you are never going to level again, getting a shard when you level is really pointless.

I'm running solo tip/paper mishes on my Bane set at 0/8 and I'm averaging 2 shard drops per mish.
I only get to run tf's/raids on the weekends and I'm not having any problems.I just wish we could sell them and the other salvage on the market.....

On my main server I have 30 50's. I've decided to work 12 through all the incarnate "lvls" as they come up, and so far 5 already have their tier 2 alphas slotted.
End game is what I've been waiting for... something to actually do :P This is also on the dead server you were referring to.

You're approximately 8 days out from the drop of the Issue.
You have people with 3, 4, 5, and 6 years worth of play time and SERVERS FULL OF 50's with something new to do.
And you're one of them. So you're pounding hard on these new things to do. Because you want the nice stuff too.
It's not wrong, or bad or ab(bie?)normal. But it's not "forced" either.
Also note you're only dealing with the first HALF of a new 10-tier system.

As for Posi and non-50 TFs. The point of the Incarnate system was to push you to the harder content in the game.

Debt barely slows down levelling these days. It's just a little bar that measures how much Awesome you've generated recently. (If you're not getting debt, you're just not trying to generate Awesome hard enough.) -Kelenar
Would be nice if there were information posted somewhere that told us about all the ways to get shards, which are more than just the TFs... That would be nice.

Let me see. For the first week after I19, I was running my 5-a-day Tip missions and didn't get a single drop. Yesterday I realise I was still running on -1/x1 from ages ago. I switched to 1/x1 and BAM! I get 4 shards in my next few Tips.
Today however I hit the jackpot. 1 Mothership raid. 3 teams. 4 shards. 500+ Vanguard merits. I've now got my common boost slotted after effectively 2 days.
...surprisingly light on recipie drops during the raid though.

I now worry what will happen to the ones i dont make incarnate when ther is a teir 3,4,5,6,7 etc...
