All you have are "ifs" and assumptions, the only fact you know is what most already know. You have no further insight, thus the bulk of your "argument" is tripe.

I understand what you're saying, though. If I couldn't bring over my level 50 characters, I wouldn't particularly want to spend the time and effort of getting a new one up there on the test server, where he/she could be deleted or locked away behind another closed beta without any notice.
Sure. I can test everything except the Incarnate Slot, which is a pretty freaking big chunk of testing.
My only 50s on test (two) were there for GR Beta, and so had been 'infected' with the old Alpha slot, even though one of them didnt have it I STILL couldnt get Ramiel to talk to him.
And transfer is broken. So im stuffed there.

So, yes, it very much DOES block me from doing so.
So I'm waiting for the damn thing to go live.

Oh, and Championess, if your SO convinced we're all wrong, your right, and you hate the game/devs/whatever then...why are you still here?

Nothing's stopping you from creating a brand new character and levelling to 50. Again, I personally wouldn't do it on test, but it's feasible.

Hehehe...
Hey, Tech, they haven't been doing auto bumps to level 50?
I know that they were, but you didn't manage to catch them, eh?

Seems like they should have used that to allow the EUers to continue to help test all aspects.

Then again, you'd probably just file bug reports of words not containing an "ou"!!

(Okay, that was the best non-offensive "joke" my brain could muster at the moment... I'll just leave an IOU for something actually witty).

Sheesh, I check this thread to see if there is any new on how things are coming along and three pages back people are arguing with each other over stuff which is all conjecture anyhow. 'Oh the devs don't care' 'oh this, oh that' Let's all knock it off, even if someone is totally backwards and wrong they are entitled to an opinion. If they start to get nasty wiht other users, report them. And don't argue, it's like pouring kerosene on a fire, that only makes them worse. If someone states their opinion in a non-offensive manner yet you find it offensive, don't respond. Bottom line: we all have different opinions, some not offensive, some offensive we can't just go around getting nasty with one another.

Now, with that out of the way, what EXACTLY is that latest official news regarding the release? Is it still "sometime after the Thanksgiving holidays?"

No. In fact, EU didn't get level bumps at all.
So, not only did we have no transfer system, but we had no level bumps. So ONLY people with a level 50 that hadn't logged in for GR Beta, Open or Closed, would have been able to test Incarnates. Or those who got into earlier closed Beta, possibly, if the transfer tool was working back then.

Either way, we might as well not have even bothered.

Answers have to be both logical and actually practical before they are valid.

That's like telling someone who lost a nugget of gold to "Just go root around in the mud in some mountain river, you'll find one again eventually!"
You'll eventually get the same result. But it sure as hell ain't practical.

(That and I'll facepalm whoever I damn well want, fleshling!)

So anyway... with all the girly fighting aside... In the past, have Issues been released on a Sunday? Tomorrow is the 28th and WW said it should be released between the 25th and 28th, but it seems unlikely to me that they'll release this on a Sunday... Thoughts?

Does anyone know if the bug that prevented release was fixed yet?

That was her mentioning the thanksgiving holiday period. From what I understand, if the bug is fixed, the earliest they'd release would be tuesday this week. They didnt want to release the bugged version during the week of thanksgiving because if there were massive problems, their whole crew was on vacation from the 25th-28th.

Yeah. They recoded fitness so it did not mess up the inherent powers of some ATs. Hopefully we will see I19 on tuesday *fingers crossed*

Honestly, I think the more likely reason it took so long for the Kheld/dom bug to be fixed after the fact is that it took quite a bit of time to find to see what the cause of the problem was and design a fix that didn't break something else.

So either this means that they are inept OR they have been paying the guy lip service and not really looking into the problem much with many more things on their plate what with i19 and all.

My deductive reasoning tells me they didn't pay much mind to that particular beta player. They sure fixed it in a hurry once they realized the ramifications of that bug and had to readdress any stone left unturned to solve it, so I rule out inept.

What does it tell you? Inept or Ignored?

I would think you'd find it a waste of your mighty robot hand. After all, it does more than meet the eye.
