Well, she made it out of the surgery on Thursday and she's awake, but too weak to talk or move. She'll be in the ICU for a while still. I don't want to nag her family too much for details because her grandfather died a couple of days ago. Yeah, when it rains, it pours. Last grandparent alive, too. She doesn't know yet, but that's an unpleasant surprise waiting for her when she recovers.
