So here's a random question

Ever wonder how old one of your characters are?

I know you can figure out the amount of hours you've played and how many times you've logged in, but what if you wanted to find out when you actually created said character?

Is there some mystical mysterious way of finding out this information? Or is it lost in the vortex black whole like parts of the internets?

The majority of my characters join into my SG on the day they were created, so I can just check that info. However, that doesn't apply to older characters that existed before the SG came around, nor characters on other servers than my main...

So, yeah, I'd like to know if there's a "Created On This Date", or even a "Character has existed for X Days", command to find out. <_<

Here's what I do: whenever I make a new character, I take some screenshots. I've got lots of screenies of new heroes posing with Flower Knight (who needs her own TF, dammit!). I also have lots... and lots... and lots... of screenshots. Going all the way back to October of 2005.

That's actually an interesting question. Now you've got me curious about my characters, as well. I know a few of them are carry-overs from beta, so they'd be the oldest, created during the headstart, but I wonder which ones came first?

Moreso than wondering when a particular character was created (mine usually coincide with Issue releases), I'm often curious to know when the character achieved level 50.

Hmm, makes me wonder how old my original character should "really" be.

I'm coming up on 72 months soon.
He was created on my first day in the game.
A day in-game passes in what? about an hour real-time?

Assuming 1 hour real-time = 1 day game-time.
Averaging to 30 days per month x 72 months.
Multiplied by 24 hours per day = 51840 hours real-time
Divided by 365 = 142 in-game years have passed since he was created.

Hmm, he doesn't feel that old

It's not how old you are...it's how old you feel.

That's fairly easy: April 28, 2004.

Also, i wish i'd thought of taking screenshots in the tutorial of my oldest alts. Oh well, a little too late now.

If you go up to a civillian with a starting letter of M you can find out how many hours you've played that character or "been on patrol" but as for date created etc I'm not aware of a specific way players can access that info!

I may grow older, but I'll never grow up!

I do this exact same thing. Lots and lots and lots of screenshots. Back when I was less careful about screenshotting characters when I made them, I had to make some educated guesses (narrow it down to around half a month or so...) In exactly one case, the best I could get was 'probably spring'. At this point I have them all in a list, and when I make a new character, I just add them to the list.

If this information exists somewhere in the database, I'd love it to be added to characters' info windows.

Yup, been missing the option as well.

Back when playing Anarchy Online, it was easy as heck to get that info by typing /born.

It would give you eveything from the actual date to the time of that day (not sure if it gave seconds too..) and that was pretty funny sometimes.

I found it a bit sad to type it here and not get the result. I have an MM that I would like to have the exact date of. She's been about since not long after CoV launched at least..

It's not the years it's the mileage.

It's actually a pretty good question but to my knowledge there's no record kept.

I just figure the ones of mine who would age age at the speed of plot, like in mainstream comics, where Spider-Man has been a young adult since the 1960s. Perhaps an anti-aging serum was administered when we joined Hero Corps/Arachnos/the PPD. :-) It's all good.

My titular character is 24. She was 18 at the launch of the game. Her sister is 19. She turned 18 when Fire Melee came out for scrappers. (I could be wrong about that date.)

Not sure, but isn't there a 'date created' these days next to your characters?
I know my namesake was made on my first day ingame...so March/April of 2005 I guess...

Speak for yourself. Almost all of my characters are mortal.

According to their backgrounds, my characters range in age from just a few years (for non-human characters that were created suddenly), to about 15 years old, to around 75 years old, to somewhere around 1400 years old.

Same here, a lot I didn't bother to keep track of and some I didn't track from the get-go, so I'm a bit foggy on some of them too, but nowadays, I keep pretty close tabs on my characters' milestones (Creation, Alignment Switching, Hitting 50).

Paragon Wiki's User pages have helped tremendously, since it's super easy to keep track of my stuff there.

Edit to add: I just read through your list, you have some great characters. Several had me chuckling to myself, a couple were eerily similar to ideas I've had or toons I have created, and my favorite was Electric Pufferfish. The short little description for him was priceless.
