Sorry, didn't mean to kill the thread with a short agreement comment. For folks who saw this last week's episode, did anyone get the impression TV-carol might be headed down a route somewhat parallel to comic-Carol? If not in her approach, but in the underlying festering pool of crazy?

Somewhat odd use of powersets to achieve a certain thematic effect on my other half's Gravity/Earth Dominator: the Gravity powers are white and blue and the earth powers are icy blue crystals. The character wears the new pack's Cryogenic Aura colored white, and their powers all appear to be manifestations of cold control...even though they're really just Gravity Control and Earth Assault.

Careful, KalAmary, I hear Father XMas has a connection with...people. People who make lists. Naughty or nice lists...yeah. Those lists.

This may not be a perfect solution, especially if you have over 10 unwanted HOs, but in the past I've stripped HOs off of characters by doing a respec and saving the enhancements. If you've been gone a while, you may have freespecs (Type /respec in-game to check) or veteran reward respecs waiting to be claimed.

I just figure the ones of mine who would age age at the speed of plot, like in mainstream comics, where Spider-Man has been a young adult since the 1960s. Perhaps an anti-aging serum was administered when we joined Hero Corps/Arachnos/the PPD. :-) It's all good.

Sounds like you have your costume and concept pretty well established! Is there anything else you need the general community to help you with?

I've hit this problem on a few of my characters, and in some cases, it has been helpful to make use of /macros in conjunction with /popmenu.

I've used it to put all of my Masterminds' summons into one button on the bar, all of my Tanker/Brute's shields into one button, etc.

Just a bit of (unsolicited) feedback, but this journal is very entertaining and informative. I love how you're using screenshots and personal insights, and I just wanted to encourage you to please continue. or as Pappy Spellbinder would say, "This is good stuff."

Currently Recruiting: We're currently looking for new players. Here's the long and short of it-- this VG began as a "vanity VG" way back when, and when my husband started playing CoV in 2008, we began to expand...quickly...to a base containing teleporters to every zone, a rez circle with two Spirit Signals and a Tree of Life, a Pillar of Ice and Fire, a third-tier Enhancement Station, and a vault for individual Salvage storage. Recently, he has asked why we haven't recruited more people to the VG, since we do play with PUGs fairly often. That's the reason for this post--I want to offer our base's amenities to CoV characters, with no rigid expectations attached, but with the hope that we might encounter new friends to play with.

RP Level: No RP expectations. This isn't Virtue. We *can* RP on occasion, but usually do so half-jokingly.


Activity: We have two players, as stated before. We'd like to have more.

Requirements for Membership: No requirements whatsoever. If you choose to play in VG mode, I'd appreciate it, but I would never demand it. Play nicely with others, if you can, have fun, send me a /tell whenever you want--Cyberwitch is a Field Crafter, so she has most common IO recipes memorized and would be happy to make IOs for your characters.

Other Details: I wanted to post this VG as an option for people who may want to have access to a base's ameneties, but may not want to Jay and I aren't going to kick you if you don't log in for a week or three. We'd love to establish a semi-regular playerbase. As mentioned before, though, casual players are welcome--Teleporters to every zone are nice for vets with the SG Base Teleporter or Monitor Duty temp power.
