What to do with HO+s?

I have returned to this game after being gone awhile, one of my favorite Characters Has alot of HO enhancements but most are combined which for what ever reason I can't put of the market or email to other Characters. I wanting to put Set inventions(Purples mostly) in their place, but i hate to just delete them. Any ideas? I'm sure some people have had this problem before what did you do?

That's annoying. I didn't know you couldn't email them. I did know you can't put them in the consignment house. That's how I got mine - I was standing in WW when someone found he couldn't list them so he asked if anyone wanted to buy them on the spot.

So, what options do you have:

1) If you have a supergroup, check if you can put them in an enhancement table. Check with ONE first and see if you can safely remove it. If that works, you just store them until you want them for someone else. Obviously, you need secure storage - either a private SG or an SG that you run where you can set one table so only you can access it.

2) Sell them. Normally I would say post in the market forum but, since you can't email them, post in the section for your server. If you're on Infinity, I'd be interested in some.

3) Transfer them to other characters with the assistance of another player.

4) Give them away? This seems a better option than deleting them. Have a costume contest?

This may not be a perfect solution, especially if you have over 10 unwanted HOs, but in the past I've stripped HOs off of characters by doing a respec and saving the enhancements. If you've been gone a while, you may have freespecs (Type /respec in-game to check) or veteran reward respecs waiting to be claimed.

Use them as coasters?

You can trade them using trade UI, you can put them into SG enhancement table, you can drop them on another character by drag-n-drop. There is some caveat though. When it changes hand few times it might get stripped of + or ++.

To be honest it might have saved everyone a whole lot of trouble if the Devs had simply "nerfed" any + or ++ off of all existing HOs in the game a long time ago. It would have made these kinds of trade problems vanish.

I actually thought it was always a little bit cheesy that HOs were ever combinable in the first place, even back in the "good old days" when that was the way to make the most powerful ENHs possible. I never combined them because they were always far more valuable to me spread around all my alts as singles rather than have them all "doubled up" on one main one.

What server are you on?

If they can be traded, people will definitely want to buy some of them.



Cytos, Enzymes, Ribosomes are some of the more desired ones.

I'm disappointed. Eight replies to the question "What to do with HOs?" and not one snarky suggestive answer.
