What would be your RED NAME?

Seeing as some of our Devs and community reps are former community members (and are still community members I guess :P) and appear to have been given the option to choose their own redname etc, what would you choose if you could?

Name? background? roll in game? Powers (including a signature one )? Any other interesting information?

Of course, feel free to steal an existing cannon character, either from the books or the game, but tell us why, and give us your take on their back story.

I'll give it a think over and do mine shortly.

I think I'd "promote" one of my in-game main characters to use as my redname avatar: Triage.

I could see the name being an apt fit for the daily job of going through and performing triage on runaway threads. "This one won't live...let's tag it, bag it and move on!"

Hmm...Depends wether I wanted to be a nice guy or a twisty lil watsit >=3

Id use either Techbot Alpha, or Chief Centurion Z1, both robotic characters, one evil one good. Alpha would probably be more fun though

Jeff.

Because it's tradition...any first character I get in single player games is called Jeff. Thus my first redname would be Jeff.

Of course!

I'd probably go with Kohav or my namesake on EU servers anyway before I moved to freedom Dior

If I couldn't get my current name to be my red name, I would go with Infernal.

Considering my history on these boards, they'd never let me keep Bill Z Bubba.

That being the case, I'd ask to be named Rook. My game avatar would be a Stone/Inv brute. And I'd never tell anyone who I used to be.

Be well, people of CoH.

Ironically enough, my red name would be Angryellow. He's my solitary male character, a mace brute.

Presuming I couldn't keep my current...

I'd have to go with the most evil contact redside.

Operative Vargas.

I wouldn't have a red name, because they'd never be stupid enough to hire me in the first place.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

I highly doubt I'd be allowed to keep mine. Or that it'd help all that much. >.>

Hmmm.

I'd probably snag one of the Khelds, given how much I like the AT. Moonfire or Shadowstar. It'd be a tossup.

If possible, I'd stick with Balanced. If he needs a fixed in-game location, he probably belongs in the hospital in Dark Astoria.

As for a signature power--with a name like Balanced, what could it be besides [Nerf Bat]?

Edit: As for a role in the company, as opposed to the game--maybe I'd be in charge of purpleizing prose, copy-editing, generating and continuity-checking lore, and otherwise hassling the writers.

The Way of the Corruptor (Arc ID 49834): Hey villains! Do something for yourself for a change--like twisting the elements to your will. All that's standing in your way are a few secret societies...and Champions of the four elements.

I don't see what I could do in the company that other, more competent people wouldn't be able to do better, though I guess there's always some grunt work for an intern to take care of.

That said, I wouldn't trade my name for anything. I've managed to keep my sig unchanged since the day I registered my account and have not swapped my name or my avatar (other than for a higher-res version of the same pic). I see no reason to not keep in such a case.

If I'm outright forbidden from keeping my name and identity, I'd probably go with the name of my current game account, presumably requiring me to rename my game account since your forum handle can't be the same name.

Ravenstorm WAS a redname. In fact, the game character is made from the redname's character.

My name would be "Dubious"

Since Doc Delilah is already taken by an actual redname, I must choose the guise of the archvillain who is in fact my archnemesis. Craftier than Nemesis, meaner than Lord Recluse, it could be none other than....

.... the diabolical....

While I would prefer to keep Steelclaw (or Gold Plated Steelclaw)... If I had to go Canon I think I'd have to go with Malaise...

... broken minded... ego maniac... living in a world of illusion and delusion...

Yeah, that'll work.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
