Fried Radicals

To me it's by now fairly straightforward, I'll just not use Hasten and Superspeed on my newer characters. I even respecced one character out of Hasten.

One character has had her powers refitted to actually MATCH Hasten and Superspeed.

I'm for the customization of APP's and PPP's though, but leave the HEAT's as they are. If not, just make variations on the current schemes possible.

So for me, while power customizing happens on all characters, I can make do with what has been given, so in the priority scales... it would sit at maybe 4 or 5. No need to rush it anyway.

It's a sad thing when someone leaves, sure, but also keep in mind that BaB has been with the game just about forever. There are times when it's time to move on. And indeed with any project ending, it usually also means the end of employment on that particular project for people.

Good luck to ya BaB, I'm sure there's a nice project waiting on you somewhere (if you're not already kneedeep in one )

Quite a bit of discussion about inherent Fitness..

From what was posted in the original announcement, I would say that much like rest, all the fitness powers 'ungray' at level.
After that, much like brawl, you can slot them, or much like brawl... ignore them.

Rather simple dissectioning of what was said versus how inherents unlock really...

Ehm.. It still is as far as I'm concerned. I'm not asking for the auras to become available at level 'charactercreation'. I have no issues with them being tied to level 30 at all.

I'm just a little sad I'm missing a new aura.
Most of the other auras were around forever, something new is always seriously nice. No need for prereq changes though..

Okay, I have gone through a bundle of characters now and while I do find Snow in the auras, there is no sign of fireflies anywhere.
I have Fiery.
I have Flies.
Fireflies should be in between, but isn't. And with the inability to actually set fire to the flies, I'm pretty much stuffed.

2. What ATs do you mostly play, and for what reason(s)?
I tend to play either Brutes/Tanks or Controllers. Mostly an evolution based on whatever my son would need to stay alive really..

3. Redside, blueside, purpleside, or any combination of the above?
Lately a lot of time Blue, I've played Redside so often I'm sort of 'fed up' with it atm.

4. What are your favorite story arcs?
Presently the Praetorian arcs, but that's obvious enough. Aside from those, I like the Red arcs far better than the Blue ones. Those need a serious overhaul by now.

5. What makes you like this game?
This game let's me do what I want. I can solo 99% of its content, so I can easily play one mission, then log or leave the PC for longer periods of time to do whatever needs done around the house. And, quite a large reason is that this game is so immensely diverse in character possibilities..

6. What other games do you play?
At present none really. Solitaire doesn't count

7. How long have you been playing?
Right from the start, though I have been away in total one year because of work (so little time at home in that period, it was counterproductive to keep the account active).

8. How many alts do you have, what is the average level range, and how many are level 50?
Seeing how I mostly play on Union, I'm now up to 31 after some deleting the other day. Average level range I'd say is 30-ish, at the moment 11 of them are 50.

9. Do you bother with softcaps, set bonuses, and all that numerical stuff? What difficulty settings to you normally use?
I uually don't bother too much on the way to 50 with all those, I just get IO's at 35 to make it easy on myself, at 50 I'll check how I like my overall recharge or defense and maybe I'll get something then. It's far from a priority anyway. As for difficulty settings, it depends on the character. Tanks mostly get to +2/4, squishies mostly hover around +0/6 if they are controllers and +2/1 for blasters. Challenges without aggrevating myself, I play to relax in the end

Way back in 2001 I began my path into the world of MMO's with Anarchy Online. Upon launch bugridden to the bone, but it took little time to get hooked on the concept of playing in groups. After a few years however, the interest started to lessen, especially since the concept of science fiction was being mauled by the fantasy expansion Shadowlands. Add to that a dying relationship since my other half had fallen in love with someone we met on a playermeet(!) and the joy of the game was pretty much gone.

Eventually the game came to Europe as well, time to hop to those servers and migrate my blaster Meowing Mags over! Wait.. it failed? But why? Noooooo... Oh well.. Let's see. Masterminds are petclasses. Metaphysicists were awesomesauce in AO. Let's make a mastermind.

And Mad Mandy went through hell and back with mega debts, dodgy Issue releases, pet pathing problems up the wazoo and so on. But in the end, my first 50 was there. She was also the only one to have solo'd the entire way up to 50. And no matter what, that is the one character I'll not ever delete. If only because she still has some 40-odd free cossiechanges left (without vetrewards mind you! )

I have done this once a loooong time ago with a character called 'Shocking Blue'.
Made her into an Elec/Elec Blaster, didn't like. Then a Corruptor. But again... Even made her into a Brute until I found out that Elec/Elec brutism wasn't my cup of tea.
But always kept the name around until I'd find the right character. Lo and behold, Going Rogue brought forth a new powerset! So now (for now anyway) she has become a Controller! If that fails to please me, next step is a Dominator.

I just can't shake that name, especially with the Venus chest Emblem

Yup, been missing the option as well.

Back when playing Anarchy Online, it was easy as heck to get that info by typing /born.

It would give you eveything from the actual date to the time of that day (not sure if it gave seconds too..) and that was pretty funny sometimes.

I found it a bit sad to type it here and not get the result. I have an MM that I would like to have the exact date of. She's been about since not long after CoV launched at least..
