This is something that I have wanted a long time. My villain group is composed mainly of my own toons and it is often difficult to get a friend logged on red side at the same time to invite one of my new toons in.
While I don't strictly NEED this change (my wife plays as well, so we can invite each other at any time), it would still be a nice thing to have.

This would be useful. I currently have an occassionally active 2nd account so I don't have to pester other people when I'm adding new alts. I imagine even with this feature I'd still keep the 2nd active at least as often as it is at the moment since I have characters on both.

People have been suggesting email/offline SG invites pretty much since Day One.
I'll bet this has always been in the top ten most wanted things since the beginning of the game.
Why we don't have it yet continues to amaze me...
Now that the code is in place to email people things like INF and recipes it would seem like the ability to email an SG invite to another character would be almost trivial.

Also the option to Promote members who are offline.
I am in charge of a SG that has limited invite access so if im on a character that is rank 1 and a mate asks for an invite ive got to swap, invite, then swap back.
Obviously if im on a TF/SF then they have to wait.

IVe always thought that my global account should be tagged for all SGs that my characters are high ranking enough members to give invites on that server. That way, a new character I log in can simply go to "options: SG: and join any of those SGs without any muss or fuss. Im simply inviting myself via my global.

Was going to make a new thread suggesting this but "Search is my friend!"
Freedom is probably sucking up all the o2 right now; but this would really be a nice QoL improvement (eventually).
Just a small complaint/suggestion but a lot of my friends have this fairly common habit of making a TON of new characters, particularly after a change and sometimes it can be a pain to link up and invite them all on a work heavy week where we might all be playing limitedly or at different times or just want to run through a task force and not wait around logging on and off with various charcters.
It would be very nice if we could just E-mail people an invitation to join a SG rather then having to wait till they are online with a particular character to send an invite.
