Cancel Forum account without unsubscribing?

Now that the logons have been united, is it possible to cancel a forum account without unsubscribing from the game all the way?

Contacting CS is probably the safest bet.

Just... stop coming to them? Unsub from any threads you're subbed to, stop coming to the boards, and there you go.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that Heraclea would like to make a point regarding the new forum rules.... which is different than making a point about the game.

Love the game, but unhappy with forums... to make the point, remove account from the forums so there is a record of activity.

I'd have to say, that does sound like a Customer Service type of thing.

While you are probably right about her dissatisfaction with the changes to the forum rules, Nethergoat is also right. Her question could have easily been answered via PM or email sent to the devs/mods or Customer Service. Posting it on the open forums is just for the spectacle.

Now I'm not saying I don't agree with her dissatisfaction, but the post is what it is.

I would suggest deleting your avatar and your sig, then turn on silent mode, delete all your subscribed threads, then dont come back here. There is no way to delete your past contributions though, they belong to the universe.

Ahh, thanks guys. I noticed that the rep scores were gone, but since I don't frequent the forums that are going to be affected most by the changes, I missed the uproar.

Wiping and 'rebooting' forums sounds like a bit of an overreaction, but then, so does quitting because of it.

All the new rules mean is that LoT can no longer post pics of Christina Hendricks bewbs.

Actually to be clear, Every Thread and Post from January 29th, 2005 until the wipe in the morning will be deleted and destroyed (minus the few threads that the Mods may spare if you were lucky enough to have them read your PM about what to save, if anything).

The new rules aren't really what's pissing off people. It's the flat out destruction of what we built over the life of the community thus far, and then the gall of the Mods to say -Just rebuild it as a community building action with all the tons of new people who are magically gonna appear on the 17th.-

Going forward, you're right though. No more video game threads.
