A non-joke one, as an addition to the previous mind control selection, an illusion set, similar to the illusion controller it could deal slightly greater than average damage, but with a large percentage of it being spectral and therefore temporary. The level 18 power could easily be a Confuse/Mass Confuse, too.

Just the other day I wished that there was dog summoning so I could make a kid based on Damien.
"Brawler" picks up and uses nearby objects as weapons. Lamp posts (ala the Thing), cars, enemies, etc.
Cutting wind rather than knocking wind.
Female minions for masterminds (not picky at all on the flavor)
Gun set with no grenades or flamethrowers etc. Like dual pistol but for rifles and without the animations.
Western fighting set instead of martial arts and kinetic melee
"Destructive Displacement" full controller/defender/corrupter set based on teleports. Tier 9 "nuke" includes teleporting everything above the belt to the left and everything below the belt to the right. Doesn't have to include gore since this is a teen rated game. Could just show ghostly image pulling in two directions and the enemy doing the scream animation clutching their head.
Knock set where the damage is caused by secondary impacts only. So if you use knock to scatter a mob in all directions they take no damage at all, but if you bounce them into a wall they get creamed.
"Vengeance" defense set. Resist based, and turns back a portion of all damage dealt onto the attacker.

Force Fields for tanks/brutes

I'm sure you can also imagine the completely unoriginal "fun" people would have with the petsay command.
So yeah, this would be nice, but given what players could and would do with it.... I don't think it's worth the headaches.

If female toons and customization colors would make the game explode if given to mm pets, then why not give us different model options. For as much as I like the Robot's look, I'd like a more complete looking robot that doesnt have all the pistons and what-not showing. Or mabye a more rustic, steampunk look liek the clockwork.
Mabye zombies with ragged cloths and stuff as an option.

I want it so bad it hurts, sounds awesome!
And I was just expecting to find some nice joke ideas here (which I did) but now I really really want this set.
dogs/hunting rifle. You get various likely hunting dogs (bloodhounds, maybe? golden retrievers?), and you can dress your character like Elmer Fudd for extra fun.
pirates/: You get 3x Swabby, 2x Swashbuckler, and 1x Bosun. Your upgrades are called Plunder, Booty, and Treasure, because that's what you outfit your pirates from.
marketing/: You get 3x Door-to-Door, 2x Used Car, and 1x Executive. They do less damage than other minions but yield +inf when they interact with new targets. Upgrades are Catchy Jingle, Marketing Campaign, and Brand Loyalty.
cats/: You can't control them. But they're awesome, and also, they TOTALLY meant to do that.
