Bummer about the Incarnate thing, but I think I would rather they fix it before releasing it. Better that than buy a new Toyota whose breaks don't work, right?

Personally, I think people are forgetting that in order for the whole Incarnate System to work at all, there has to be a LOT more 50+ content. Maybe I am being over-optimistic, but they do go hand in hand here. |

Carnifax_NA counting: Mousedroid makes a good point in terms of the side-shifting content but it's totally unknown so far as to how many different "change of alignment" type missions there will be embedded with the Tips system and how many different ones per level range / side. |
I've been playing this game off and on since it was about a month old. I pre ordered GR, paid my account up for a year (my fifth between my wife and I), and have been patiently awaiting what's to come. I would love to make an informed comment about this but even though I pre ordered and was active during the weeks it was promised to I still am not in beta.
I've purchased all but the most recent costume pack for my wife and I even though since their inception there has been little to no free content along those lines. We even jumped on the special offer and bought a year of time because GR excited us. Not because of the new power sets or switching sides. It was exciting because we would finally have something to do with the characters we really like. All of those level 50s that are mostly collecting dust.
As much as I have enjoyed this game and some of the people in it I will not be spending any more money on it unless the incarnate system both delivers what it promises and is available, even if in a limited form, before my sub expires. It's been a lot of fun, but I'm sort of fed up.
And, no, my stuff is already claimed so you can't have it.
Instead of pulling the slot because there wasn't much to do with them and that the devs didn't like the way it worked with the players...why not add 50+ content for i18??
I am always confuzzled by the dev interest in 1-20 content? Everything the devs know bout 1-20 contradicts their attempts to make 1-20 content. A year or so they bumped the rate at which we level in the 1-20 range...I would think that if they want to showcase their awesome work with GR they would make leveling in that area as hard as possible but not impossible so the hypothetical new customers can see what the devs have done and to keep an interest going.
On a side note...I guess the marketing dept is working? they now have CD on sale on Itunes? Can they have done these sort of thing 2-3 years ago?
I've criticized the devs many times in the past because they didn't listen to our feedback. From Positron's post it appears that they actually listened to us this time. I'm really happy to see that.
Also, I much prefer "get it right the first time" over this dev team's more usual "we'll go ahead and let it go live and datamine then maybe we'll revisit it 3 years later".
So overall, I'm happy that they pulled this from GR so that it isn't delayed by this one thing.
I just hope that the Incarnate System, or whatever it's being called now, doesn't end up like the Cathedral of Pain, the SSOCSS, or the major overhaul of bases that we were told was going to be in Issue 13.

OK no pissed anymore, **** happens I get it its ok cause what does it really matter in the sceme of things nothing really just a game.
I read everyones post in this thread and read between the lines of some peoples post that sounded like they had inside info and it musta been really borked. So devs delay it yada yada please just get it right and it better be more awesome then I imagine.
