Hmmm I just realized that since GR is slated for the end of August, that leave time for only one update If we're lucky) before the end of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if some players skip the GR release and just wait until more content is released in the next issue.
Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

I haven't been following closely and actually thought GR wasn't coming untill late 2010/early 2011.....so this is very good news to me.
The thing that sucks is my wife has been deployed for 5 months of a 6 month tour. She gets back the first week of August....and then GR and Madden come out the next week....dammit!
Well I did say that I hope it wont be beyond mid August but I guess I had really hoped it would be in the first week of August. Oh well... can't wait. Guess I'll have more than enough time to purchase a gtx 480 now.

Hence the "skip the GR release" comment. It may make sense for people that may be back in school come September etc to wait for the next issue. The issue after GR may be November/December there may even be holiday deals for the box set by then.

I got a little interested in the marketing and decided to see what AMD and Razor had to say about this. That was disappointing. Neither lists the release date and both link to GameStop.com to pre-purchase, which still does not list a release date. Just for giggles I went to Amazon.com and the wrong release date is still listed there (July 20th if anyone wanted to know).
Anyways it is good to finally have a solid date. Thanks Paragon Studios!
Thank you devs. I really did not want to decide between Starcraft 2 or GR next month.

I would still like to see, even if it's only on one day before it's release, a GameStop ad featuring the game. Honestly the GameStops near me are downright PC phobic, so I wouldn't expect a lot of in store benefits from this arrangement.

I am actually suprised, to be honest, that they haven't talked about Issue 18 at all as a separate Issue or even named it. Especially since you have to buy GR to play the content, but Issue 18 will be "free" to everyone. Seems they would want to push that a little. Weird.
If issue 18 is the Incarnate issue, it's already been stated that you need GR to access most of it, so it would have to be after GR. My guess is issue 18 will be 2-3 months after GR. Right about the time that the new GR excitement is waring off. Makes no sense to release GR and a free issue at the same time imo.

So while it's technically GR and I18 they have been working on both simultaneously. This way if you didn't purchase GR you'd still have something to look forward. That would leave 4 months in 2010 which I doubt they could push two issues out in that time. Which is a good thing for someone like me with two accounts as I can wait until the end of the year to see if there are any holiday sales for GR then I can apply that to my second account.

Just browsing the web, it seems that level 1 of the incarnate system will be released with GR and then the subsequent 9 levels will be released at a later date as Issue 19. Assuming ParagonWiki is correct, I don't thnk that's too bad. I finally got on the preorder wagon and am looking forward to August, not only for GR, but for my B-Day as well. August is an awesome month!
Edit: Wow, looks like Dumple and I are practically on the same page. Love it 
And when I click to view that order, it gives me what you have, with a ship date of July 20. I think dates confuse Amazon.com.
