Honestly couldnt be happier. Love him! (positioning). Whilst Emile played I was abit confused as to why but I see qualities that both have that we dearly need. However, with good management we can play both at the right times.
Slovenia: Hardest team in the table I thought. We are just more safe with David James in goal and he makes it look like its all just too damn easy. Robson needs more exp. David James is gonna be more of a pair of safe hands versus anyone I think and we just need to improve our defensive lines thinking. Slovenia gorgeous, but luck does come into it and we been down on it. Rooney aint had much of a look in but I bet he has been seen as the threat and so limited.
I saw USA's goal against Algeria and it is an omen, an omen that they should stop looking at somethings as a world series when like only they play it.

No longer can the Americans taunt us brits that they were above us in the league stage because they just lost to GHANA 2-1 lmao. Great result for Ghana.

I'll break the silence on this one. I did say our defensive line needed a rethink and that it's probably the worst England team that I can remember. The cracks in defense got exposed today. Too many people who I see, haven't agreed with Capello's decisions before and after. We're starting to think that having a foreign manager is a bit like turkeys praying for Christmas but that would be wrong. It could be that we are just haven't got the players today. Thoughts?

I'm classifying it as "what might have been". (And I believe many Germany supporters are classifying it as "44-year old revenge".) Would it have made any difference? Who knows.

Unknown to the general public the involved parties actually practiced this very event in secret to awaken a bit of Wembley nostalgia during the old classic (or rather the newest WWII reenactment according to the ever demure English tabloids). Sure enough it worked perfectly during the actual match.

Well I learned a bit of football law I didn't know from that game. When the German goalkeeper took the goal kick for the first goal, 2 attackers including the goalscorer were well offside. It's stated in the offside law that you can't be offside from a goal kick - never knew that.
