Please, please, PLEASE Fix AHUI
I've experienced the same problems with just placing salvage in the interface and setting bids and prices. It is pretty obnoxious. I also don't like how I can't close a salvage description again after expanding it. Scrolling through lists of IO recipes is also annoying because the interface tends to jump through them too quickly; I have to seriously moderate how much I move my mouse in order to navigate the list in detail. And it grinds my gears that recipes that people are simply bidding on get lumped in (that is, highlighted in the interface, whereas recipes with no bids and no supply are greyed out) with recipes that are available for purchase, even if there is 0 supply.

But this kept happening with the old interface too.
I doubt it's the interface as much as a lagging server somewhere.

Does AHUI read like "Ahoooooyyyyy"

Granted, I could just be forgetting. (I am not gifted with flawless memory.)
Some of these behaviors may have been present in the old interface, but they were nowhere near as severe as they are now. Further, I never ran into the issue where I would drag a piece of salvage into the window and it would throw it back out before. No way, no how.

I read it as ahwhoooeeyyyy.
That being said, graphics wise i prefered the old one but apart from that, i have zero qualms with this new one.
@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!
I know a lot of work was put into the New and Improved™ Auction House User Interface, but something is seriously wrong.
I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to have to drag the same piece or stack of salvage into the window over and over again only to have the AHUI reject it. It either won't let me store it, or it won't let me post it. Sometimes, it acts like it will let me store it, and then, a second later, it throws it back out, in a sort of "Neener neener" moment. Clicking post over and over again is frustrating in the extreme. I have tons of salvage to sell, and a limited amount of space to store it in. I cannot spend thirty minutes at a shot while I'm teaming to stop and armwrestle the AHUI trying to ram salvage and recipes down its throat while it flails its arms and kicks its legs, refusing to cooperate. The thing is practically unusable in its current state. I don't know if ths is server specific, due to high traffic volume, or whatever, but Something Must Be Done. The above is entirely a subjective opinion, and a cry for help. It is not, however, a knee-jerk reaction, and I don't believe it's a solitary opinion. |

You know I haven't had the problem your referring too at all. I am however in favour of them make it so when after you bid on something and switch to a different something the 'bid window' is cleared of the amount from your last bid.
Wall of text? Hope not.
Enjoy your day please.

Have those of you clicking a button for 20 minutes without success done something like close the window entirely and reopen it? Sometimes you just have to resync yourself to the server. I find it hard to believe it happens as often to one person as y'all say when so many of us experience it very little or not at all. Something tells me it's not just the interface.
Not saying I don't believe you're having an issue. Just trying to narrow the problem down a bit more than just "Fix the Interface."

It's only started to do this to me over the last few days, but it's extremely annoying. I don't think it's necessarily the interface, but there's something funny going on somewhere.
This thread kind of weirds me out. I've experienced none of this behavior with the new interface and in fact it works a whole lot better for me than the old one. Strange.
Dec out.
I like the new interface. its one of those u need to get use to at first things but once i got use to it ive had no problem and havent had any of the problems ur talking about.
I don't see any problems of this sort with the new interface that I didn't see with the old one. Posting something only for it to be thrown back into my inventory is a common problem, and it was common before the new interface, as well. Outside of times when the Market is down, I've not had problems of being unable to retrieve items AT ALL.
Are you sure you're not getting the "Cannot process your request at this time" message?
If I'd change anything, it would be to make the Seller and Buyer information available when you expand an item's info box. Right now it lists 0 and 0, forcing me to find the item in the Market if I want to see if anyone's bidding on it. I'd also like to have the ability to re-minimise the info of a piece that I've expanded. It makes it really annoying to scroll through the list otherwise.
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

I've had it happen with the old interface where an item gets tossed back at you when you put it on the market, but never like this. Once or twice, maybe. I've got, right now, a stack of three Kinetic Weapons that I have been trying to put on the market since last night with no success. Pretty soon Wentworths is going to sue me for harassment, I am clicking them so often
I am glad for you folks that don't have this problem because it is a right pain in the ***.
Might this also be a particular server issue?
I was on Virtue yesterday, and WentWorths was refusing to accept any salvage and giving me tons of problems trying to sell certain items that were already stored.
Everyone else was having the same issues and it seemed that something screwy was indeed going on.
This was obviously something new and more problematic than just a problem with the UI.
So, maybe we should try and list the servers of both people having problems and people not having these problems.
and round up everyone that knows more than they do"-Dylan
I get this problem occasionally, but not constantly. It's smooth for a long while, then it'll hiccup and start kicking stuff back. After a few times moving things or clicking it settles back down. The old market UI had the same works-then-not issue.
Mostly on Virtue here too. Now, Friday, I believe it was, the market server seemed to be down entirely. Lots of complaints in Broadcast, and I couldn't get it to work either of course. It got straightened out eventually though. Now it's back to smooth smooth smooth hiccup smooth, as usual.
I should mention here that the above assumes that no one nearby is running something like Quills or that Fire damage aura, especially Quills. If those two are in effect, I have nothing but hiccups. I usually just find another market to use if some jackhole is running Quills, that noise drives me nuts even if it didn't cause market issues.
