I'm well aware what literal means. I'm also very convinced that I can use it in this context. I'm not speaking figuratively in the sense that it's so bad it's like I didn't see anything. It is an exaggeration, but it's a misuse of literal that I'd jump on any native English speaker for, too.

I've enjoyed your posts in this thread and I see where you're coming from, but you're fighting a battle you can't win - you simply cannot use the word 'literally' to enforce an exaggeration (and be taken seriously).

If Spoony had said "Literally no-one saw this movie because it sucks!" then he'd have been ...inaccurate; without the 'literally' it's an exaggeration - there's an implied 'figuratively' in there, which the word 'literally' contradicts.

Even if the video had been 6 seconds of black, it would still exist.

It's a teaser; just because it didn't tease you doesn't really change that.

That made me giggle. Paragon Studios marketing is literally horrible. I've come to the conclusion that despite the many nerfs to things I like and enjoy, what really made me cancel my sub has been paragon studios marketing. There seems to be a complete lack of organization and effort to promote the game.

That and the write-ups for praetorian signature characters, NPC groups, seem to have completely bypassed editorial review and yet remain on the site. As a fan of this game and as a consumer that WANTs to be a fan of GR..this irritates me.

And Tokyo... while a bit clunky... that highlighted part of the sentence is indicating water mains and water pipes. The second and is housing both the mains and pipes to water.
Correct? I think it might be.
Clunky? Yeah, I'd say it's not entirely smooth.

However... Haha, could you provide some more examples? That is literally and literarily a very weak attack against their entire campaign if you're claiming it is riddled with poor grammar, spelling and overall editing!

I believe that part about 'water mains and pipes' is actually proper English. It looks bad, but English can actually be that way at times.

English is flexible. It has to be to mug all those other languages for such interesting words its likes.
