I wonder how many RP'ers will have to get Handwavium-plated Retcons for their characters now?
Well its going to be great fun finding out the loose ends with Mother Mayham (specially due to the earlier statement. Sister phsyche is over 80 years old).
Might have been mother mayham that was the patient and took over the doc.. Aurora borealis. That would give the reason for mother mayham being so... young.
But why on earth does the seers have reduced life span? hmmm
I sense a soul eater, draining life force or something...

After reading the Seers background info, I'm just itching to get started on my Psychic's Praetorian counterpart.

With these bios, it is hard to call Praetorians evil. With the Hamidon Wars, it made America harsher. Therefore, certain liberties that Paragon City took for granted no longer exist in Praetoria. People are willing to give up certain freedoms for securities.
I wonder how much change will happen to the current Praetorian story arcs since we have the Seers and Mother Mayhem's current mad children.

I hope this piece is propaganda and not an attempt at cannon info, because it would greatly contradict established canon.

All I've got to say is I hope some of her costume pieces will be made available to players. I can see that looking quite sexy on some characters.

What Emperor Cole and his Main Followers present themselves as is not their "true selfs." Those of us who have played through the Maria Jenkins and Tina McIntyre Arcs have encountered the "real" persona's of the Praetorian Powers.
The Going Rogue Webpage is an INTENTIONAL MIND-BENDER designed to screw around with new players who are unfamiliar with the history of the Praetorian encounters with the Primal Earth Heroes. That's why the updates are such a big deal. We are seeing the story the Loyalists are told, while already knowing the truth the Resistance is trying to tell to the rest of the Praetorians.
It would seem odd to, even in a propaganda piece, lie about Shalice's true age.

They're stating in the propaganda that the Seers have a limited lifespan, and that "unstable" psy people have an even shorter one. If they revealed that Praetor Tilman (in whatever body) was in fact 80+ years old, it'd fly in the face of their statements about the Seers and could potentially bring other things into question.
[Edit] Not that I'd buy into any of that Resistance-spewed slander or even think to question the word of Cole. All hail Emperor Cole! Please don't send me to the Behavioral Adjustment Facility.

Seers remind me of a star trek voyager episode where folks werent allowed to have violent thoughts.

My guess is they are hinting that there is going to be alot of psi damage going on in praetoria so its either have psi resists/defense or die.
