Masters of Lady Grey
Congratulations!!! I think we only have a few days left until the fix is implemented. I'm guessing it will be on Thursday. Because of that, we're going to try again.
We just did another one. We could have gone much faster but had to call a GM on the third mission. One of the NPCs was stuck on the wall. Props to GM_Sven for helping out even after he disconnected lol! We also had a hiccup on first mission. Despite all the delays, we still managed to do it in under an hour - 56 min 18 sec.
This is the latest Master of Lady Grey challenge on Liberty server. We finished the challenge in 34 min and 8 seconds. We could have cut corners, but I think we did excellent. I was truly thinking the fix would be implemented Thursday or this morning's (Friday) impromptu Maintenance. Since the fix has not been patched, we decide for another go and go as fast as we could.

I'm really glad we managed to get this done before the fix, hehe.

Congratulations on the 4-man win Silas!
And congratulations Desum on the (touch over) half hour run. That is a sick time!
This is sort of late to post but after the first MoLGTF win, came back online later in the day and had another go with a different team. We got a win but it took nearly 2 hrs to do so. Ah well...I'll take the win everytime. Here's a link to the team pic...

WOW! That is MOST excellent WIN for everyone across the servers for showing resilience in Mastering the Lady Grey Task Force with the current "broken" setting on the Green Mitos. 8-person team is great, but 4-person is amazing! Well done all, Masters!
Now try it without failing any missions
Just completed a successful Master Run on Protector after the patch. The greens were fixed because our 2 Doms held them in about 3 seconds. Somehow we managed to take out all Mitos without aggroing hammi and had an easy time with him at the end all by himself. Is this normal?
In any case, it was an amazing team (2 doms, 2 corruptors, 1 tank, 1 scrapper, 1 brute, and me a Warshade) that went slow and put up with my paranoid warnings every 10 seconds. Although one corruptor nearly managed to give me a heart attack by dying on purpose after final TF complete. He knew we all had the Master badge, but I didn't!

Ah! Cool, awesome
I haven't read this thread in a week or two so I missed lots of people that managed the MoLGTF. Congratulations to you all!
Doing it in 34 minutes, and doing it with a four man team. I feel so useless now. *grin*
Gratz to you all, for making sure the rest of us will have something to strive for.

I'm gonna attempt this for the first time this weekend. Any strategies or pointers for handling Hami? We usually just speed run and don't care about deaths, but that's the only spot that has me worried.

The most important thing is to not take out the pylons until the only thing left is the Hamidon Nucleus. While the pylons are up, the Hami nucleus aggro range is severely reduced.
I usually do the mission without deaths by accident. The usual thing to do is aggro the Rikti around the pylons and drag them across the hami. This sets up a lot of chaos and you can usually take out the yellow mitos before they realize you're there since they stay aggro'd on the Rikti quite a while. This is risky unless the guy doing the aggro-ing has a fast recharging self heal.
If you cannot do the above or don't want to risk it, then I suggest killing all the rikti before doing anything. Then, have whatever melee characters you have attack the yellow mitos one at a time. A backup healer or EoEs will make this easy.
The blues... usually never do enough damage to ever worry about. Have your ranged teammates shoot them from outside the goo, concentrating on one at a time. This step is hardly ever a problem.
The greens can be ugly if you don't have a lot of control. Again, focus on one mito at a time and you should be fine. Stay at as large of a distance as you can. If the melee guys overshoot they might aggro the Hami Nucleus, in which case it's time to run. Typically, brutes/tanks/scrappers have access to one hold that doesn't recharge fast. Frontload the holds and these shouldn't be a problem.
Now go take down all the pylons.
The nucleus hits hard with an AoE that has a DoT, so this part is dangerous. If you have a tank with self heals or high regen or a few EoEs, this is a lot easier. Let him hold the aggro from range while your teammates safely smash hami. Hami's also only an EB, and I have seen him held, so this could be a viable strategy on a control heavy team.
Where to now?

Just make sure you have a good balanced team with melee, ranged and control, especially in case someone drops. Essence of the Earth inspirations are very usefull especially if your lacking in one area like melee damage. On our one run my brute was the only melee on the team, being able to pop some EOE's made it easier to take down the yellows, I only had to run out and heal once.
If anyone's health dips they need to run out and break line of sight ASAP. That damage can creep up fast. Any one with recall friend should stand by and grab anyone in big trouble.
And lastly watch for Pylons and if its a mixed team make sure no one leaves the zone.
Freedom Server - Main = Lil Bug & way too many alts to list
I just completed this yesterday with a good team
When we got to hami I first said to take out rikti & pylons...but then someone /tell'ed me saying that it might be better to keep pylons up.
I remember reading in diff. spots on the forums that the pylons don't do anything so at first I was like, "meh"...but then I changed my mind and said, "Just do rikti but not pylons."
I guess the pylons do something (they should since that is how Hami is 'weakened' supposedly in the story line)....took out all of the mitos with no issues
Team make-up was a bit weird and not 'optimal' I guess but it definitely worked
Team was:
Me: Kin/Rad Def.
A Fortunata (with perma-Mind Link)
An Ice/Fire Blaster
A Katana/SR Scrapper
A Dark/Thermal Corruptor
An Empathy/Energy Defender
An Elec/Shield Def. Scrapper
A Mind/Psy Dom. (perma-dom)
Completed it in 2:14:44 (had a break once we got to the Hami mission)...completed the psychics mission as well. And we didn't really 'stealth' and blow up the gens...we kind of cleared most rikti in the last room before taking out the generators (as a precautionary). Great team and great fun
Having the Mind Dom. confuse the Riders (along with other mobs) is always fun...aaah, confuse...

We've always taken them out completely first, so I don't know what happens (or doesn't) to hami and the mito's stats if you leave them up.

Well I hope nobody minds since this thread appears to be the de facto new MoLGTF winnahs on the board. I know my team is not the first one on the Protector server to get a MoLGTF win, but its my first attempt at it and it met with success!
Total time was 1hr49min.

Asked several people to join in on the fun and they were gracious (and flexible) enough to err on the side of holds heh. So a big thank you and congratulations to...

and my invuln tank, Kriya Fuze.
We started by notching some monsters in PI for some EOE drops just to have some on hand for the Hami mish. I only chewed one EOE but by mission completion, probably didn't need to as the clearing of the yellow and green mitos was straight forward. The team had enough holds to clear the green mitos as well which brought a sigh of relief heh heh. The general approach was to clear a straight path to objectives and took shortcuts when we could.
So many 50s to get the badge on now...
