Training Room... Nuked from Orbit???

I was on at about 2 hours ago, and was "forcefully disconnected".

I just got back on to find my toons in disarray... ie... deleted toons restored,
name changed toons reverted, new and newly copied toons gone.

Did I miss a warning post?
Anybody else seeing this...

I just logged in, and it seems that Training Room has been wiped/backed up, and replaced with a copy of Freedom from the Live Servers.

They've done this kind of thing before, actually. It lets them see lots of characters from before the patch log in. If there's something buggy or slow in the update-from-I16 routines then this should catch the problem. (Heaven only knows how they can fix it before Wednesday, though.)

Freedom was the server chosen by the looks of it, same prob...all my toons (25 or so) nuked and replaced with my Freedom list ( I never play them, have never copied them over so I was quite *shocked*)

I just looked, all the toons I had up there are gone. Every slot is empty on both test servers, probably cause I don't have any toons on Freedom.

I thought I was going crazy...

Thought I was going crazy too ... was checking for a level bump (plz plz) but only my Freedom roster was there.

Well fudge bunnies. I go on to save my DS toons costume to transfer over to live and I so nothing. Since I don't have any toons on Freedom I though that all my test toons were deleted.

Aw, that's really too bad. I had some stuff on there I was rather proud of. I'm not took broken up, because it's test and this is one of the hazards of it, but still.

Back when respecs were first introduced, I didn't like my scrapper's build. She was 12, so I figured it'd be faster and easier to reroll her than to get to 12 and respec. I copied her to test first, though, so I'd always have the original...and later found out that I goofed and made the new version taller. Oh well.

I also had a Trick Arrow/Archery defender from when those were being tested. She had a build from back when the first two powers were Entangling Arrow and Ice Arrow, not Entangling Arrow and Flash Arrow. As a result, she had neither the tier 1 nor tier 2 power from her primary, which is for obvious reasons no longer possible to do.

Ok, wasn't just me. I had been trying out DP and DS characters on the Test servers along with some high level toons. Hope they restore it but if they don't, I know the risk exists they can do a wipe any time.

Not that I mind, per se - but my test setup had a blend of old and new beta toons (TR only,red and blue), plus selected toons (red and blue) copied over from the the live servers.
With the copy from Freedom, Im "locked" into the redside... all my Heroes live on Triumph. (Dont ask, just the easiest way for me to keep track of whats where).

I did find this:

If you don't currently have a copy of your character on The Training Room, make sure to transfer him/her there so that you can pay the Devs a visit! Go here to transfer your character now.

Which gives me hope that the "True" TR will be restored before Wednesday.

Okay, so it's not just me here. That's (kind of) a relief. I thought something was wrong when I went into TR to log on my DP tester to try and test out my 'print screen' problem (details in another post) when I find my list of SG pads that were still on Freedom from 2+ years ago.

Yeah, I hope they reset as well.

Yeah, lost a 36M base as well, not gonna be too happy if this doesn't get reset once I17 goes live. I can understand the reasons behind it, but a little warning would have been nice!

Well, looks like the changed the roster again. I dunno what server was copied over this time, but it's not Freedom... o_O

I'm still somewhat upset from when they reset all the permissions when Test went from closed to open beta. I had leveled a villain up who was in the high 20s, so had gained access to the VEATs. When open beta started, things had been reset and I had lost access to them. Since I rarely play villains and had only leveled one while testing the clone story arc, I now had to do another story arc or such to get access back. I was just over a bubble away from levelling him up once more and getting VEATs back when...well...you know.

*insert sound of nuke hitting the Test server*
