My account is still bugged at 2 months behind my actual start date...
Edit" well..maybe it is. I guess I'll find out once the 72 month rewards come out.

Nice... went from 24 to 42 that is 18 months. Must have been all my half months from coming and going so much over the years since I started my account in 04.

A better reply would have been that the actual awarding of extra vet rewards was a bug that the devs predicted would happen to some players, and that it didn't actually affect everyone in the way the poster thought (i.e. counting inactive accounts as active for rewards).
A friend of mine went from the 50s to the 66ish without ever canceling his account.
Yeah, I just wanted to know why it only affected SOME people, and not ALL people. I think it's a little unfair that I didn't get bumped from 39 months to 45 months, while some people stopped playing just as much as they did play and went from 24 months to 45 months.
I actually read her post a couple times, because I was (and still am) baffled that only SOME people were affected.

On a side note, I was browsing Hasting's Bookstore and found a book I'm going to have to buy several copies of for gifts.
Looks like an engaging read.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Doc Mech-Nec, my 50 MM on Triumph still has the 33 month vet rewards that were erroneously given to him at the 3 month level. Currently I am at the 12 month level. Should I petition this issue again or was the original petition at the 3 month level already taken into consideration?

This needs to be added to a new MOTD in-game. The Live servers, or at least Virtue, was a seething pot of misinformed nerdrage the past two days I was on. And it's not limited to any particular zone, IE AE babies in Atlas. Talk about conspiracy theories and entitlement issues.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. So. What do the other people get? XD Free time? A boost in their vet rewards? Come on now. I've paid 42 months, haven't lapsed even once. Surely us dedicated folks get something nice.

Man I WISH I got free ones I didn't deserve. For the past 2 vets awards I've had to notify a GM because I didn't even get the ones I did deserve. :S No hard feelings tho.

Lovely, it really is.. so congrats to those who got extra rewards for nothing. *nod* Still, i can't help but feel annoyed and disappointed by the fact that they aren't snagging em back as they in my opinion should, in an effort to keep things fair across the board.
Oh well, stuff happens and.. yeah, so again, congrats to all who got free goodies.

First, I'd like to say, in either case, I'm apreciative of the extra vet rewards I got, but I am wondering, now that I'm 4 vet rewards ahead, will it be a year before I earn new ones, or will I remain aproximatly 1 year ahead of my paid time from now on? I liked getting an extra badge every 3 months (or so, had to petition a few late ones), although if my badges simply stay as is till they catch up to paid time that would be understandable.

Well thanks to Mod 08 (or theOcho? confusing when username says one thing and sig another!) and the CoH support staff my account is now fixed.
I do feel kinda bad for making support look into my account, it was apparently QUITE the mess, after a week they just gave up and set me up from my start date
Which admittetly is only like 2-3 months too many, i would've been happy with just getting the 66 badge on schedule, but this is nice

I got a lot of Veteran Rewards. I started playing CoH shortly after release (long before VR), and had quit several times before VR was announced. Now, it seems that I've gotten credit for all that time I deactivated my account before VR.
Needless to say, I'm happy with the result since I had no way of knowing at those times that the VR system would be implemented.
