Aha, this explains why I jumped from 24 months to 39 months when I logged in this morning. I like this new system, and it's very cool that we're being allowed to keep the rewards. Thanks devs.
I also got the 54th and 57th reward the other night. I got -soooo- happy. It's just what I needed to cheer up (I was having a bad day) and now I'm happier to know they're freebies to stay!
I've just really really really wanted 57th month cause of the 50% Discount on Tailor. I love me my tailor. xD

I wondered how long it would take before somebody posted this. After all there were hordes of posts about epics being unlocked at 30 instead of 50 being a terrible thing that totally destroyed the concept of a reward for getting to 50.
I must admit there is an annoyance factor (though a very minor one) to people being given reward items that they didn't earn. I don't mean the perks, those are insignificant. I mean the badge. Before there were very few people who actually had the 69 month badge so yeah, it was kind of cool when people would look at the vet badges and be shocked at how long I've been playing. Now it just shows that I may have been playing that long, or I may have played for a while, then quit then started playing again.

I went from... 57 I think, to 69.
Best part of that is an extra character slot. ^_^

Well, technically he is not a hypocrite and he did not do anything to make him a hypocrite that we have seen. He only stated his opinion. It is human nature to be jealous, I know I would be pissed honestly if I didn't get it when I knew other people did, that does not mean I would not be happy for the other people, but hell yeah I would be jealous. I can see 100% why people who have actually been "playing" and "paying" this entire time would feel a little jealous or even angry about this, but things happen and well, you just have to accept or forget about things you can't change.

Nothing wrong with being happy for others either. 
My vet rewards screwed up a while back and I had to file a ticket to get my 42 month reward. I was then owed my 45 month reward at the end of last month, but it looked like I wasn't going to get it. But now I've got my 45, 48 and 51 vet rewards! Yay!

I seem to have lost somewhere between 2 and 9 months of vet time. I know the account management is bugged, but seeing as how i'm late for my next badge it sure looks that way.
Kinda feels wrong to be that i'm being f'ed over for being loyal, while someone who been gone for 3 years is getting rewarded for it...
Just my opinion tho.
Very nice. The months I spent on the EU servers (bleh!) got added back to my US account. I is a happeh ghost!

I think, Avatea, a little clarification of how the calculations are supposed to work would be helpful.
Vet time is supposed to be total time paid + free months from any purchases/upgrades - unpaid (inactive) months, correct? I know it was this way before you changed the system, but is it still this way now?
Let's say someone got a badge for months that shouldn't have counted (any inactive period between active periods). Going forward, will they continue to be the extra badge ahead of where they should be, or will there not be a badge rewarded until the calculated time matches the correct badge reward? Some people I know that got extra badges are wondering when their next vet badge reward will be.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Strangely, my new vet times equal roughly what would happen if you added all my vet rewards from my old EU account to my US account, so i'm happy enough.
