So whats everybody's secondary to go along with Dual Pistols
I took Devices on Test for the same reason. Once I make one on Live it'll probably be either Energy (the closest thing Blasters get to martial arts, which is what I really want for my gun-fu character) or Mental (PSW plus Hail of Bullets should be very useful, and Drain Psyche would make using that combo survivable). DP/Devices was the lowest damage Blaster I've ever seen, so I'm not making one unless DP gets buffed... I don't have the patience to rely on stacked mines all the time.
Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)

I went with Mental manipulation for Drain Psyche and PSW to justify having to be in melee range to use Hail of Bullets. Doesn't really make sense for it to be a PBAoE and only do RoA levels of damage all while having twice the recharge time as RoA.
I went with mental manipulation for mine. Its the most survivable of the other sets. It gets an extra aoe even if its small so that helps a bit with the lower damage of the other attacks. And there is PSW to have a chance to stun the minions while your stuck in that 4 second animation for the hail of bullets. Aside from that using any other secondary is a death trap.

I went with /fire. Blazing Aura, Burn, and Hot Feet keep the 7' area around me relatively sparse for incoming melee damage, and Consume keeps the blue bar full.
Hot Feet's slow and fear components keep enemies in my Hail of Bullets aoe that much longer without them trying to kill me while it's animating. Throw in Hoarfrost and Hibernate from the Ice epic and it worked very well for me on test.
On test, I skipped the swords and Combust. Planning on taking combust or Fire Sword Circle on live at some point. I might have to give up tough or aid self, though.

Devices for me too, I like the idea of being hidden in plain sight placing bombs, then making the right moves, spray em with bullets from two pistols into the bombs....
Said this in another thread, but more relevant here: I went with DP/Ice because of all the fun tools. And by fun, I mean firing Bullet Rain onto baddies flopping around on an Ice Patch corner pull.
I went with DP/energy. Main reason was for the early build up and for the power push power. I just love being able to shove guys outta melee range.
Vigil Auntie is /Nrg because I think boost range and build up just make this set blossom, all those orange numbers yummmmm
DP/energy here. I've meant to make a boost range-r ever since launch or so. Figured now was as good a time as any. Plus, lots of stuff I can skip in the secondary .

I'm going DP/MM when GR comes out. I liked it for PSW, Drain Psyche, and Concentration.
Besides, you'd have to have some kind of mental powers to do all that stuff with a gun.
I made a level 32 DP/MM on live. While doing so I decided DP was the best match for Devices, so I made one of those too, lvl 20. Device's lack of Build Up is somewhat supported by Swapping out the ammo type to fit the mobs. Targeting Drone allows more range to be slotted into the DP mid-range attacks.

I had a DP/Energy/Force on Test. I wanted the extra range from boost range and discovered that I needed the extra survivability afforded by Force Mastery.
Since this isn't really a primary I'll enjoy until it gets the problems repaired/buffed, and alternate animations made available through power customization, I've elected not to roll one on live for the foreseeable future.

has anyone tried electric with it, and if so was it any good?
I'm planning on using /devices with mine, or if something else comes out with GR that fits the concept and works better... :3

I was a little torn about what to run with for DP, actually. I like being able to take bosses out of the equation with my Blasters, so EM and Elec seemed pretty good. I'm thinking I am going to run with lethal ammo while solo, though (added mitigation from KB), so I think EM is the way to go so I can stun bosses while solo. When there isn't a boss, I'll still put some hold duration into Supression Fire so I can still use other types of ammo. I also figure boost range and the other melee attacks are useful too (they are on my AR/EM).

I'll most likely be making a DP/Fire as soon as GR releases for Praetoria, assuming that there aren't any better Primary or Secondary sets released by then. I'm just not too impressed with Dual Pistols. The animations are cool, I guess, but something about them just doesn't impress.
Made a dp/mm tried it on test and it seemed to mesh well so made 1 on live server.
Devices at the moment. Might make a second DP char with another second later.
I like DP myself. Maybe it needs a damage buff but the animations are fun.
NRG - nice for kb when baddies move in too close.
Have a devices on Test that I quite like so maybe when GR is launched, I'll create a new blaster with that.

I tried both MM and EM for secondaries, in the end I went with Dp/EM for Power Thrust, Build Up, and Boost Range which fit my play style better than what the powers I would have taken in MM would.
MM has TK Thrust, but you are forced to waste a power pick on Subdual and EM gets Power Thrust as its first power.
Both Concentration and Build Up are the same, so it's a wash there.
Boost Range > Drain Psyche for me since I am not in melee range, and carry plenty of greens and never have end issues.
The only thing from MM that i do miss is Psychic Shockwave, this would be a perfect opener for Hail of Bullets.
Both secondaries make excellent choices though.
/Devices for me, primarily for concept. A WWII pilot/spy, her signature equipment is a stealth generator.
DP/Fire here. Loved it on test for the same reasons that previous posters have given. Hot Feet = relative safety zone.

I'm a theme player so I took Devices and made a soldier. Just wondering what everybody took to compliment Dual Pistols and why.
