So now that factions don't really matter because we can switch sides we still can't trade inspirations to revive a fallen teammate.

Could you walk us through the steps to mail from one character on my account to another character on my account? For instance, say that I send an item from one of my characters to another character that could use the IO. |

Okay ... attachments are stored globally, but marked as being sent by a hero or villain, and only a character of the matching faction can claim them.
Why didn't ya say that in the first place?

So what you are saying is that in a database somewhere every enhancement, every inspiration, every recipe exists twice. Once as a heroic version once as a villainous version. This means that Vigilantes and Rogues can't trade between each other and their opposite number even if they are running missions with them.

Question, then.
Currently our In-Game Email filtering options only allow us to limit emails to people on our per-character server Friends list and Supergroup members. With this change, will the filter be updated to limit based on Global Friends instead of each character's server Friends list, or at least give us the option to allow emails from anyone on our Global Friends list as well? |

I remember at the anniversary party in Pocket D, Positron was very much against revamping old content

He could have said "right now we're working on a new boxed expansion with multiple zones, new TFs/missions, a new endgame system and the much reqyuested side-switching system, so and revamping of older content will have to wait till weƤre done with that first" - and then Pocket D would have been flooded with tears of joy - but because he wasn't allowed to mention GR, he just had to give a vague answer that "new stuff" was being worked on as a priority.

Something's been eating at me since I read about that "Find the Last glowie" "feature"..
My only reasoning I can see DOING this means a harder mechanic is going to be implemented o.@ The main reason for hiding / randomizing clickies (Which is the only reason you can't find them right away, if they were static we'd /we do find them immediately from memory) is a method of time sinking and maintaining your userbase.
I must admit I've had to turn up my sound to find the clickies. But I was ok with that in the end, I knew how to tackle it.
What could they possibly be doing to make the length of completion on tasks longer? o.@
The same idea stems from making the level 20-Epic change. That was, if I understand the ideology correctly, a way of guaranteeing at least one full play through from "x" customers, which at the time were classified as "average-casual" ensuring at least two extra months of work. (granted now to get to fifty it takes what, a week of concentration?). If THAT is nowextinct, what will they be doing to help keep our interest / interest the fresh people just coming in?
Ultra mode is nice
The email change is a very inventive way to quell those complaining about gold spammers. o.0 My only issue is that with ever combative move the devs make, the spammers evolve and mutate around it. o.@
All in all some main concerns, but I'm excited still.

Valid attachments are Enhancements, Salvage, Recipes and Inspirations if they are tradeable (buyable on AH). One per email. Inf can be sent alongside item. Items with attachments cannot be deleted until attachment is claimed. They can be returned to sender. |
IMO on i17 changes:
Ultra mode: looks good. shadows are nice, but the water reflections are truly top notch. I like playing with maxed out settings and it is nice to know my box will easily handle ultra mode.
Archetypes at lvl 20: meh. I don't think having one 50 is such a big deal, but more is better i guess.
In game email infl & recipes, etc: great news, i never thought i would see the day.
Animated tails: meh.
Posi TF changes: thank goodness that thing SUCKED.
New badges: NO !!! I still dont have 600 on my main (altitis). No new badges damn you.
Increased mish count to 7: very cool. Ty
AH recipes now show which salvage is needed: Awesome thank you !! Should reduce the amount of time i spend in the WW (time i hate) by a lot. Wanted this since day one of i9 and its nice to finally see it.
AE 20 new maps: cool.
AE pick indiv powers for custom critters: Great. I just hope it is clearly defined as to exactly what is the min to get full xp/infl/tickets.
