I think Rabbits point was that solo-SGing is just too tricky to do on your own since there's no way to easily invite all your alts. An Email system is a far less convoluted way to do transfers than messing with SG bases and trying to wrangle Alts into them somehow.

It's a good time to be a CoX fan. I17 beta starts tomorrow, right on the heels of last week's wonderful reveal. GR has to hit the PlayNC store before Thursday, and promises to knock our socks off with all manner of WANT NAO details revealed this week. My money is on an announcement tomorrow.

I did the same thing with the prestige giveaway. I made a hero base on every server that my SG didn't have a presence on, so that we would be able to expand out to other servers and have a base with teleporters to every zone. The biggest barrier to entry for playing on a new server was not having a base with all of the porters. Now we have that, and can coalition a bunch of smaller groups to it to use the porters, so they won't ever have to deal with setting up any teleporters in their bases.

It also doesn't help people like me who have two toons in a main VG, one in a personal VG, two in friend VGs, and several others VGless. I can't simply pull all of my toons out of their groups just so I can trade with myself. And I still wouldn't be able to trade money.

There could be a world event where *nefarious villain group* tries to rob the bank... and we would have to go and defend our stuff... If the villains win, we lose 20% of our stuff. If we win... Its buissness as normal.
We should also get 2.5% interest.
And at this time, they should raise the 2 billion cap to 10 billion.
