Yes animated tails has been a major wish list item of mine. I haven't really liked the stick stuck to the backside that we have. Even EQ2 has animated tails. So a definite cheer for this.

I see this being much more likely, since it takes far less effort and the vast majority of players are incredibly lazy. (Including myself!)

Perhaps I am remembering incorrectly, but wasn't one of the initial concepts for enemy groups in the initial run called the 'Mirrormen'?

I'm going to poke around here and there and see if I can find a reference to this.

I seem to recall *someone* posting a quick list of stuff that hasn't made it into the game... and a faction called the Mirrormen, I'm almost certain, was one of these things.

What's the limit to the amount of currency you can send in one email?

I've heard that you can only hold 3 billion inf. on a character -- (I've never had anywhere near that much on one character so I don't know for sure) -- so I'm guessing the limit you could send via email would be the same, 3 billion.

Just curious about this, since you can always just send another email with more currency.

Interestingly some of my characters would be ideal for this, since I take a lot of crappy powers as set mules. The AI probably wouldn't know which.

Sure it'd be 1 influence but with their energy/time, they might send ya 1 million by the time they stop
If you have the option of 'returning' attachments back to the sender, it might make more sense to return the 1 inf, then report the spam. If everyone did that, it would fill up the spammer's limit of 20 emails-with-attachments faster than they could physically hit the 'delete' button.

Actually, this is not quite right. In signed two's complement eight bits represents values from -128 (0x80) to +127 (0x7f). The value -1 is 0xff. Unsigned eight bits can hold values from 0 (0x00) to 255 (0xff).

One's complement can represent values from -127 to +127, and you can have -0. One's complement was used on some mainframe computers designed in the 1960s (from Control Data, in particular), but I've never seen it used on microprocessors.

Oh, I can be mature.

I'd like to fight other people's characters in mayhem/safeguard missions. Instead of having the same old Crematorium or Rose Thorne you'd have something new each time.

There will be 20 mail cap to inbox. Mails sent to full mailbox will bounce (bounced mails can exceed cap). If you are at the cap you cannot send mails.

Items with attachments cannot be deleted until attachment is claimed. They can be returned to sender.
Sweet. One last tiny request: can you make it possible to email a supergroup invite somehow, some way to /sgi someone who isn't online at the moment?

No. You need to re-read. You can send to any global name, including your own.

And promotion/demotion. But mostly mailed invites, yes.

Second, this mechanism isn't just to send stuff to your own alts. You can send things to other accounts too, so it's more flexible than a vault could be.
According to Posyb:

"Valid attachments are Enhancements, Salvage, Recipes and Inspirations if they are tradeable (buyable on AH). One per email. Inf can be sent alongside item."

Emphasis mine.

Oh, I have ways of fixing that...
Even the most masterful and scary things loose all sense of threat when painted pink!

That, and its an object that proves my point.

Alternatively, Alpha may be threatening to paint Arcana pink...

Sigh... and I was poking fun at Alpha's maturity...

I had to go looking for it. I had to.

It's not spray painted, it's made that way. Good cause.

It may be for a good cause, but it's hideous. They should just have painted the base pink... or put a pink band/ribbon on it.

Or just made it a model of C-3PO instead

If you were a super-IOed defense-heavy tanker with few attacks, what do you do with your doppleganger? Dance?

I would fear this for the simple fact that new SG owners may end up spam inviting in hopes to fill their SG with toons. I understand why you want this done, but I fear that it may create unintended spam.

I have no problem with and ability to either promote/demote via an e-mail.
