It was one of those things where I just started brainstorming and sketching as soon as I found out what the theme was, and it pretty much took on a life of its own. I couldn't stop myself from working on it.
I could have waited to post it but... no, I couldn't have. I am not known for my patience.
At least I've got time to fix a couple things, and now that it's done I can get back to finishing that valkyrie picture (the knot work/boobs one)

Yep it is Dominatrix, the Praetorian Earth's counterpart to Ms. Liberty.
Her "evil twin" so to speak... so in a way she is spanking herself.

You know what figures though? While spanking is acceptable, its probably as much "violence" as I would allow this month. You guys still seem to need injuries along with your romance! What's up with that?!
I'm fearful my entry isn't going to qualify... 
Still, not going to seek approval until it's finished. If I did and was told no I wouldn't bother finishing and I want to finish it!! Hopefully I can get it done in time to submit, get rejected, and throw together another pathetic scratching at the last minute....

Awww... sorry Suichiro. Instead of a consoling hug, should I perhaps offer a punch in the gut?
My feeling was that if there is no malice involved, then it's probably not violent...plus there is a clue in the picture that suggests consent. Of course it's only apparent if you know who the characters are. It would be lost on an outsider to the CoH universe.
And if you're spanking someone and causing injuries, then you're doing it wrong
My idea is very lighthearted cheesecake, but it does involve violence in the form of one or more beat up thugs in the scene. I would think that a superhero themed pinup would allow for indication that the hero or heroine has been fighting crime, but I guess its prudent to ask.

Mine was 'My Bloody Valentine' - and it got shot down.
Got a new one though.
Mine was 'Wretched Love', featuring Ghost Widow and the Wretch. I still like the idea so I may do a personal painting some time, but not for this month.

Yeah, I really liked LD's idea in and of itself, but the Ghost Widow/Wretch storyline puts him in a really precarious position to slip into the tragedy and all that I want to avoid, so I cautioned against it. Better to play it safe then put hours in and need to come up with a new piece at the last minute.
So my idea to have entrails spelling out "BE MINE" is no good?
