I really like the pin-up theme. It's pretty much outside of my comfort zone ...I always veer away from T&A in my images (which I think pretty much dooms me to obscurity), and a classic pin-up tends to use a bright colors and well-lit figures, and is generally pretty playful...all are things that I also tend to slink away from. So I'm going in to this one with guns blazing... even got a friend to model her face for one of the figures 
So then it sounds like the idea of Multi-vote/Multi-points is a winner. Good but I think the "cant vote for the same piece more than once" stipulation I made earlier is still needed otherwise a few people casting all 3votes/6points for the same piece will still unbalance it.
Oh yeah, you'll definitely have to vote for 3 different pieces. Everyone will need to figure their top three, and this should solve any elimination problems pretty well.
What do you mean by "dark" exactly, LD? Subject matter or colors? I just want to make sure, because people could end up doing dark-colored characters in a cheeky pin-up. And that's fine.

Both subject matter and colors, I guess. I have a general idea that I really like. I have no clue how it will end up looking, but I have a feeling it will be on the serious side, although there will be no blood or gore. I will run it by you in PM before I develope my idea any further.
Actually my first idea involved a couple of skunk characters cuddling, with people around chocking. The title would have been, "Love isn't the only thing in the air..." But then I realized most people wouldn't see a hot chick in a skunk, even one with a jasmine perfume. I also can't draw animals, which is too bad since almost all of the characters I play are animals.

Yeah, just throw me a PM once you've settled on an idea, LD. That would be the best way to go.
No matter which you pick, romance or pin-up, just keep a cheesecake frame of mind. This goes for everyone. I want both the romance and pin-up pieces to share a common thread, so light-hearted and over-the-top is the way we're headed.

edit: Nevermind... methinks I figured a way to wriggle my idea into the theme....
I think I'm going to have to bring a psychiatrist in to help some of you dear entrants. You can't seem to tear yourself away from themes of violence and gore when I give you a romance theme! I believe there are underlying issues.

Actually my first two (stronger) ideas actually would have had no gore or violence... But one would have had some sadness and the other probably would have come off romantic but really not lighthearted. *shrug* I may be able to pull off the third idea though... but unlike the 1st idea it won't have any girl on girl action - your loss

Hrrmmm...going to have to put my thinking cap on for this month's. Going to be tricky. Yet another moment where I wish I had the skills to do an actual pin-up...
