Whether it is percieved as integrity or stupidity is inconsequential. The right question is: "Was it a financially responsible decision?"
Except in the case of Non-profit organizations. While they must pay attention and still make fiscally responsible decisions, their purpose is not financially motivated.

Hindisght is always 20-20. It is often unclear as to how good a decision is until the long-term ramifications are worked out. I bet Toyota thought it were making great financial decisions and savings thousands until it got smacked in the face with a $155 mil a week recall bill.

*facepalm* Great point. I completely disregarded 501c3s. But in this scenerio couldn't we safely assume we are dealing with for-profit businesses models?

anyway, thread-jacking i'll stop.

???? subjective

Its usually very plain

Red = Moron.

So... can you Dev-types drop a hint on if there'll be any powerset proliferations (in addition to our new powersets) for GR?

Will MA be updated to allow for power customization on CCs? New maps?

Updated defeat badges for enemy groups that currently don't have any?

Will Praetorian missions be available for Flashback? Does (Ouroborous?) even exist on Praetorian Earth? Cimerora?

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

There's speculation that this will be the case, since they've told us that Going Rogue will double the amount of storage we can have per arc (up from 100K to 200K). There has been no official word, however.

It would annoy a lot of level 50 characters if they weren't, myself included.

Seeing as how it doesn't exist on primal Earth either, I'd say no. (It's a separate point in the space/time continuum.) It will probably have some links to Praetoria, if that's what you're asking.

Cimerora?
Highly doubt it. Or rather, it probably existed, since the timelines of primal and Praetorian Earth were very similar (though not identical) up until the main divergence--when Cole killed Richter in Praetoria. But since there doesn't seem to be any 5th Column in Praetoria, why would you ever need to go back in time to Praetorian Cimerora?

As far as your other two questions go... I doubt there will be any Powerset Proliferation in Going Rogue, but it might come with Going Rogue. It would be annoying to have to pay to get powersets that already exist in the game, even if they are on different ATs. (I'd certainly be ticked off on principle, and I'm definitely buying GR!) And of course, there has been no word on adding any defeat badges for existing factions, though I find it unlikely, given that the focus of the expansion is on new stories and factions.

In part 2 of the Hero Conn video (GG posted it somewhere in some thread relating to GR) Hero 1 said that you WILL be able to play old missions in response to a player question near the end. He never said how this will be implemented though.

There was another question about Nemesis in which it was stated that he never became the super Villain on Praetorian Earth that he is on Primal. But, as stated above, Ouroboros is interdimensional so ....

I've only dealt with Cimerora through redside; outside of the ITF, there were no 5th Column arcs [in Cimerora].

The whole reason you go to Cimerora to begin with is to aid Imperious in fighting off the time travelling invaders who have given Romulus his might. They were the 5th Column (obviously), but even they might have been controlled by a greater force... you never do get to see who is giving Romulus his orders...

Once you're actually in Cimerora, though, you're completely right... all you really do is smack around Romulus' troops.

Also, any mention of Inherent changes for those who switch alignments (esp. Scourge/Vigilance)?

Lol, not much you can do about Assassination though.

Why would they change your AT specific inherent power if your AT doesn't change? Corruptors don't become Defenders just because they switch sides; they just become Heroic Corruptors.

My question is more in line with the intent of each inherent (and their current description):

Quote:
Scourge: The Corruptor is a dastardly villain indeed. As a Corruptor's foe health wanes, the Corruptor can start to land Scourge hits with his attack powers for up to double damage. The weaker the target is, the greater chance the Corruptor has of landing Scourge. Once a foe is weak enough, there is no escaping the Corruptor's wrath. A Corruptor shows no mercy.
That's some hero right there.

Vigilance just needs to be reworked, period. With Corrs, Defenders and MMs sharing space; Defenders run the risk of falling to the wayside. (IMO)

I disagree Yogi.

Defenders get just as much space in teams in the RWZ and the holiday Pocket D events as Corrs and MMs. GR isn't going to change that.

Defenders buff/debuff more
Corrs shoot more. Or at least with slightly better numbers.

That wont change anytime soon.

You may be right, but GR is a whole different ballgame than a few levels of co-op zones and a handful of co-op events. (And team play is different from solo play)

The zones and events allow Defenders to go back to Paragon with little competition in the way of Buffing/Debuffing (ie. Controllers).

GR allows the other 2 Buff/Debuff ATs to go home with the Defender; creating more competition for that function.

As a course of regular play, the Defender now has to deal with the possibility of being replaced by 3 ATs; 1 of which has more control, and soon, 2 of which will have more damage. Not just in the creation of the team but in the creation of the character itself (for team or solo play).

didn`t one of the rednames say that we will get new information in the next weeks. As i remember correctly, that was 2 weeks ago. I know haste makes waste, but a picture like the one we got 2 weeks ago isn`t too much whistle-blowing, but we have something to get excited about.

I don't think they will have anything worry about in terms of teaming. Most "speed tfs" just take whatever they can find and go.

Now in terms of CREATION of a character, that might be a different story, I agree.

Blazara Aura LVL 50 Fire/Psi Dom (with 125% recharge)
Flameboxer Aura LVL 50 SS/Fire Brute
Ice 'Em Aura LVL 50 Ice Tank
Darq Widow Fortune LVL 50 Fortunata (200% rech/Night Widow 192.5% rech)--thanks issue 19!

Second week of Feburay... no info on GR and no big "We're going to PAX-East, here is the official info on GR" announcement yet...come on Marketing Dept, Let the Devs blab about what they've been working on!

We need some new info so I an allocate funds and time to GR... with the current meat on this bone I am not going to bite! 2 powersets that I don't want and a graphics update that I can't afford do not make me want to run out and get this...

I went to Gamestop earlier today to pick up something that actually comes out tonight >.>
Ended up getting pre orders for Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

On a whim, I asked the clerk, "Hey do you know when Going Rogue for City of Heroes comes out?"...

The guy said, "looks like late April early May, but that is subject to change"...
