Are you getting confused between listing and selling fees?
When you place an item on the market you are charged a listing fee - 5% of asking price - if you are asking 190mill this will be 9.5mill.
When the item sells this fee is refunded and the selling fee is deducted from the inf you get paid. e.g. if the item listed at 190mill sells for 250mill you are refunded the 9.5mill and charged 10% of the selling price - 25mill - i.e. a net 15.5mill which means you will receive 234.5mill from the market.

i belive wentworths is bugged. why becuase thursday before i logged i bought a +7.5 recipe. i put it up for 190 mil. then i logged into today and found out not only did it not sell but it was not on the market. so i put it back on and had to pay 48750000 mil. then again it was taken off the market.
the 1st time i only piad 98.5 mil. devs or whoever can you please take a look at this. -
i think the op is saying he wants other options to earning ixp. so do i. i think a great thing would be to open up the shadow shard as incarnate spot and open it up to villians. that way people can do mission or whatever to earn ixp and its componets.

P.S. even for the selfish player there is little reason not to go the leadership route as it will give you two lotg's as opposed to 3 with concealment. Unless you literally never team then taking leadership is a pretty simple decision for most toons as a straight swap for stamina's power picks imo.
now you might think leadership is god. but to me its not. i would rather choise a "selfish power as you call it." to help me survive. ive soloed for 2 years in a row. in that time i made myself a good player solo and team. regardless od power choises.
now that i can have fitness i can choise the fighting power pool to fill in some of the holes in my characters. -
id like to see flairs from the fire set for blasters. get its orginal animation back. that animation was different from the other sets.

i dont know if i can post a few questions in this thread.
1) i want to make my mm a hero. will what i fight say arachnos will that get a hero tip mission or if i can fight a longbow will that cause me to stay a villian?
2) how offen do tip missions drop? will they be rare drops or uncommon drops?
3) if i make a nutral character mm how can i start in pretoria?

i plan on moving my ninja/ta mm to hero as well as my night widow. why becuase its apart of thier own arc. also because im more of a hero player then villian.
i also plan on making a nutral mm/dark mm then move it to heroside. -
its down for me, i tired 2 different characters. i dont know if anyone else is having trouble with it.

i think the only way for the devs to make sure the markets dont get overily priced is to lower the merit vendors prices. byt 5%-10% nothing to outragous. i know i might get flack about this but i wanted to give ps my thoughts and conserns. -

There is a cap, it's 2 Billion. Because of that cap PvP IO's have gone to a real Black Market and are selling for way above that. (That 2 billion cap is a tech based cap IIRC, player characters can not hold more than that amount. Through there are ways around that)
I am guessing that you mean an even smaller cap, or even a cap based on what the item is.
Hamidon Goo. If they set a cap of 500,00 on it and I know I can get 3million for it. What do you think will happen? The result is you will see less and less items that you want/need on the Market and still go for the prices that the players are setting.

i too am glad they are making the game better. and everyone is happy about this.
however i dont want to be a stick in the mud, but how i see the merger things will go sky high. that only the rich can afford. i have a hard time getting rare io slavage at 3 mil now itll go upwards of 10 mil or higher. and recipes that go for 5-10 mil go for 20 mil or higher. im not saying this to be anti merger, im just pointing out what might/will happen.
does that mean ill not go to the market no but itll give me pause. to go there.
these are just my thoughts. im glad yall that wanted a merger got it. im with ya on that.
now for beinging able to give things to villians or heroes thats a great move. and im happy about that.

i hope, they give everyone a chance to cliam thier deleted emails. for a day or 2. i lost over 65 mil worth of influ and invention salavge. and i had no idea about the 30 day email delete. i always read the update posts all the way threw. and not 1 word about the 30 day delete.
