Ok... I reread the announce and.. ya... I had a reading comprehension fail about what was and was not in I17 - perhaps it was wishful thinking on my part.

I still would like a bit more clarification on the subject of dual pistols being available early on live. I don't find that "explicit" or clear at all.

Yesterday I posted a request that someone from the development team and/or their representative clarify Avatea's comments about the benefits of pre-ordering GR. I pointed out the lack of clarity caused speculation and guessing, which in turn leads to rumor and pointless bickering.

Since then, a good number of posts have come along to demonstrate my point beautifully. A couple people are certain they know what's what, but no one, not one person has linked to any comment from a red name backing up their own opinion.

Arguments like "it's common sense", "it's just that simple", and "it must be" carry no real weight. Regardless of what we might want, hope for, or think; the development team is the only group of people who know when DR and DS powerset will be available.

Based on Positron's powerpoint show at Hero Con, these new sets are part of GR, but Avatea's post talks about early access to these same sets. No where does she specify where that access will occur, ie on Test or on Live, and that was and remains the question.

To those who've exhaustedly expressed their opinions on the topic, none of which have been a red name or NCSoft employee, if you have information to back up your opinion or theory please link to it in your post. I'd love to find a concrete answer to this question, it may indeed exist elsewhere on the forums. So, if you know where it is, dazzle me with your search fu and whip out a link.

Otherwise, there is no point continuing this conversation with more unsupported opinions and pipe dreams, well no point beyond inflating one's post count I suppose.

We don't know. GG is assuming.
No one knows. I would hedge a bet that it would be early on Live, because it makes little to no sense to have it on test. I may well be wrong.

So, yes. Until we get Red name confirmation, we don't know.

I'm not trying to be over critical here, but is anyone else annoyed by how little info they are actually giving us concerning GR? I'm sorry, but by now they could have easily said the target date for pre-orders and yet . . . nothing. The GR Website has basically NO INFORMATION on it what-so-ever and what little "content" there is on that website has barely been updated since it first went on-line. Here is my suggestions 1-target date for pre-order period limited to no more than a 2 week period. 2-It's time for some real information and screen shots, especially for the Demon MM. The Test Server has been abuzz for a while now, they should have some good shots for us. 3- an explanation of why the release of GR has been move to the 3rd quarter of 2010 would be nice. I am sure it will be something like "way harder than we expected" but at least give us that. And 4- KEEP US UPDATED. Our $15.00 a month may not be much individually, but I think we deserve that much at least. Oh and that money is keeping you and yours fed btw. Come on Devs, just throw us a bone once in a while.

so double xp weekend gives you duel pistols but not demon summoning interesting, is the end game a pay only feature i wonder because they keep talking about it as part of GR i think?
