I guess the op here just cannot get it into his head that defense above softcap is not helping him like he thinks.

And WHY?!?! would you go for MORE defense and REMOVE hasten to get there?

It needs to be bigger Flea. A LOL that small just doesn't do justice to the comedy on a stick known as Fire Kin Master.

I've long since given up in telling Fire Kin Master anything. He's the second coming of UniqueDragon. I was remiss in not recognizing this brand of genius earlier and I will endeavor to make up for it.

I see that you are striving to be "Fire Kin Master of the Universe".

In that case, make sure you also dump the entire fitness pool.

And make sure you take hover, fly and group fly.
That way you and your imps can glide through the galaxy on your quest for deafening the universe with your unsightly oversized fonts of doom.

You could fly through space, spewing forth the large scrolling fonts similar to that used in the Star Wars credits.
And you can tell all the aliens how epic your fire kin is.
And challenge them to a farm-off for your specific AE farm.

Apart from having to back up 8ft to be able to read those huge letters, this thread has been as much fun as a public forum can be. Horrible build, zero self critique and an obvious distaste for learning the mechanics is a recipe for humorous disaster. I love it!

Don't argue with the Fire Kin Master. He knows all!!!

Basically, going over 45% S/L defense is USELESS <<UNLESS>> the foes you are fighting have Defense-Debuff. In this case, you can go a little over softcap to ensure you're still at 45% after Debuff. 75% is WAY too much. It's not only useless, it also makes your other skills WEAKER. Basically, you seem to survive more ( Which isn't the case, actually) but you are also killing SLOWER since your whole attack chain is gimped. In conclusion, you plain suck because you are wasting important slots to achieve something which is completely useless.

Maybe someone can translate in his language so he can actually understand the whole paragraph?

I think its going to be the imps that go next. He does uber damage himself, he doesn't need imps! He's got 75% defense!

If I was him, I'd cut the entire Fire Mastery Pool. I mean, he's so awesome, he could kill with his awesomeness. He's obviously the next Chuck Norris. Who needs Fire Cages and Cinders anyway? N00bs,that's who!

Beside, he can't cut Fire Imps. That's the only company he'll ever get on his runs since nobody wants to play with a Broadcast Spammer.

I'm not even gonna try to waste my time in mids with this, but is it even possible to find another 20% S/L def on top of the 55% he had earlier?

Sounds to me like he needed to find 40% S/L from IO's, but I'm tired and might have missed out on something really obvious.

Actually, you can hit around 30%'ish S/L defense with Rock Armor alone, if not higher. My Fire/Kinetic is softcapped (46.7% S/L defense) and I didn't really have to TRY and FIND S/L IO's, beside Kinetic Combat which is a huge 3.75% S/L defense bonus.It's possible to hit 70%+ at the cost of effectiveness/damage/accuracy/credibility but nodoby is that stupid...beside this kid, I mean.

That about covers it. I tried his farm and he does have mobs that debuff defense in it. But as you said, all that's needed is going a little above the softcap, plus using a Luck when needed.

Personally I hope Fire Kin Master keeps tweaking his build and posting here. We can all use some comic relief while waiting for news on the expansion.
