pretty much, yes. You'll need around 3 targets to fill up on end. Don't forget, it does have an accuracy check.

I thought power sink is an auto hit? Mine never missed a target.

Power Sink is autohit.

whew, was about to cry if it was really 13 end to get back 25 like the detail says.

thanks for the rapid response, you have no idea how great this feels coming from the barren wasteland that is SoE's Planetside.

Um. No.

edit: apparently, even though it's got an acc check listed, it does indeed to appear to be auto-hit.

Power Sink Blaster: 1.00 accuracy check

Power Sink Brute: 1.00 accuracy check

Power Sink Stalker: 1.00 accuracy check

Power Sink Scrapper: 1.00 accuracy check

Power Sink Tank: 1.00 accuracy check

Power Sink Defender Epic: 1.00 accuracy check

So... that's pretty much every version of Power Sink other than the Corruptor and Dominator Patron set (that I can't show because I don't have a level 41 in either class).. and I'm betting they have accuracy checks too.

Yeah, you can't actually use the Accuracy stat to determine if something is auto-hit or not. Tanker Taunt is autohit, and yet it has an Accuracy stat of 1.00.

According to both Mids and Paragonwiki(I don't have a char high enough level to get this info in-game), Power Sink does not accept Accuracy enhancements, which is a pretty clear sign of it being auto-hit.

wrong, it's autohit. Thanks to the fun fact that I've actually played ELA on both brute and tanker to the point of getting Power Sink, I can guarantee it

City of Data supports this on every AT that can get it, note the "Entities Autohit" is labeled foe.

Accuracy always has to have a numeric value, there is no numeric value for autohit.

Code:
Max targets hit	10
Entities affected	Foe
Entities autohit	Foe
Target	Caster
Target visibility	Line of Sight
Nofity Mobs	Always
Because it's not remotely possible that every power has a base accuracy listed regardless of whether it's Also flagged as autohit.

Be well, people of CoH.

Just jumped in game and tested it with to hit rolls displaying in the chat tab. It is autohit.

Basically everything that does something has an accuracy rating whether or not it is autohit. A power that summons pets will have an accuracy rating even though it's not possible to "miss" summoning a pet. Dull Pain has an accuracy rating. So does Hover. Check it out for yourself.

And yes, I have an Elec Armor toon who has it. It cannot miss.

Power Sink is autohit, try reading the combat logs some time?

Okay. So I'm wrong about it having an acc check but not needing the accuracy check.

Thing is, I haven't ever taken Power Sink, even though I do have an electric armor brute, an electric armor tank, and a couple of defenders that are 47+, so I'm just going on what the power says in the description. Every other +end power I've had, can miss. Which, on both my fire tank and fire scrapper have lead to embarrassing deaths as consume failed to gain any endurance from a single target. I had presumed that Power Sink would be no different.

Then you shouldn't state 'facts' if you have no experience in the subject at hand (correcting someone who is right, with wrong information, is an even greater offense).

Going by the description is a common newbie mistake; veterans know better than to 'trust' the descriptions devs put ingame >_<

Um... I'm generally not running out of endurance enough to need it.

Oh, and Silver, you should also learn the ability to know when to say I'm Wrong or I goofed up. Until you do, please shut up.

Um...replenishing endurance is not the only use.

Much like when people have demonstrated that having stamina will increase your performance in almost every instance, power sink will be much the same.

If you aren't running out of endurance know, you are not putting out as much damage as you could be with power sink. This would be either by attacking more and pausing less, or by changing your slotting for more recharge and less endurance reduction.

Though personally I can't see how a tanker or brute could ever actually attack and not want more endurance.

Too many alts to list.

Yeah, I know, it drains endurance, and can kill recovery rate... but... again... I just never really found myself needing it.

I love pratically draining mobs of their endurance using PS and LF while making myself an never-ending-attacking-machine-of-infinite-blue-bar DOOM.

I will when the time comes (I'm sure I'll screw up some time, happens to everybody). But until then, I'll be glad to keep pointing out your newbie mistakes

I'm curious as to how you use Electric Armor on your tank without it.

On my brute, I found Power Sink to be the essential to allowing myself to beable to tank for groups.

I know it's a Brute vs a Tank, and that this was before the set got a self heal, but I wouldn't think the self heal covers up that much of a whole for Electric Armor.

I'd like to know this, too. At least leveling up my Tanker, it was critical in allowing me to have some offense, in addition to being able to run all of my toggles.
