What would you pay for?

I have seen several posts about run stances, and people's willingness to pay for then. So my questions, is what would you pay for in a booster pack?

I would like to see a booster pack devoted to dance emotes.

Edit: I have all of the booster, and anything else CoX has tried to sell me. I see no problem with spending extra money for extra stuff of any kind.

I'm not fooling anyone. I would buy just about any extras they dangled in front of me.

Though I'm a sucker for costume pieces.

Hammer, meet head of nail.

Anything that adds new stuff to the game is worth money to me.

I'm sure we're about to be hit in this thread by folks who say we are sheep and we are dumb for spending our money how we want.

Just warning you ahead of time.

For me if its new and fun to use I'm buying it, just as every booster has been for me.

I would LOVE to see the ninja run animations available w/o the ninja run power so that I could keep my stats and abilities from SS + Hurdle + CJ. But I want the cool sound effects and the movement animations.

Also I would pay to have a different standing still stance when NR is on.

Sheep are warm and fuzzy and baby ones are cute.

Maybe. So far the Boosters have all been purely/largely cosmetic. Funny thing, that--aesthetics being in the eye of the beholder. So long as it doesn't affect anyone's gameplay, they don't have to buy it. So long as it makes my gameplay awesome looking, I do.

Personally even if they did intro something that affected gameplay, depending on what it was I may or may not buy it.

Something that lets me go to the useless empty space known as the shadow shard, no. Something that teleports me to Wents/BM anytime I want without time limit restrictions, sure.

I see your point though.

Going Rogue booster with pre-release access to GR costumes + a beta invite

But, on a more serious note, I'll buy pretty much anything that isn't temporary (like the Jetpack booster).

Animal Costumes. Bugs, birds, and wild animals + stances that you can use for appropriate animal.

Mayb in the same pack or a different one costume pieces like gun and weapon holders.

Fixed that for you

I, like most people, have bought the bolt on goodies with alarming alacrity, even by my standards although my personal opinion is this latest is by quite a long way my least favourite - but that said makes ok additions to the set.

I'd like other forms of travel power. The Ninja Run is too "whacky races"/"evil vaudevillian" - you know the scene where the evil villain has tied the heroine to the railroad tracks and exits left with much "muahahahaha(ing)"

Hoverboards would be excellent and hopefully more doable than motorbikes but I'm already concerned that the Ninja Run might give purchasers an unfair advantage over those who don't have it. Only a minor one and I'm not yet very concerned but let's hope the trend doesn't onbalance.

Maybe if there is to be a new travel power/booster then I'd like to see something like a "Parkour" or Free Running power which although difficult to do would fit perfectly with all of the architecture of Paragon and the Isles (and probably Praetoria.)

See, that's the problem with being natural. I don't wanna be a ninja

Stuff I had hoped we'd see in the Natural booster:
-- Prestige versions of the slottable travel powers but with the jetpack/jumpack graphics (and something for SS)
-- More "crude" options for weapons, especially the sword ones since axe/mace are well represented (kitchen/butcher knives, hunting knives, chainsaw - animated or not, etc)
-- Quivers/sheathes and the like. I'd even settle for pre-set costume options like "Artemis pants" that have knives preattached since I can imagine a "Leg accessory" costume slot would be a clipping nightmare.

I'd be delighted to pay for a booster with that stuff.

In a nutshell? I'd buy:

Cosmic Space pack
- astronaut, space pirate and martian costumes
- Temp power: gravity/space walk something or other

Deep Sea pack
- sailor uniform, wetsuit/deep sea diver costumes
- Temp power: some kind of "water surface only" travel power (surfboard, summon dolphin, or ride a jet ski)

Feature Creature pack
- classic monster costumes (werewolves, mummies, zombies and fanged vampires, etc)
- Temp power: "Premature Burial" trap (hold/immobilize heroes in a free-floating casket)

All just wishful thinking, I guess.

Have all the boosters(except for the marraige pack).

So I guess hookers?

Remote WW/BM access! Either that or an ability to vendor remotely.

It has to be something just a little more than costumes for me, I think. I think the offerings so far have been good, though I've not really bought too many of them honestly.

I got the GvE goodies on both of my accounts, but they were essentially free (boxes marked down to $9.99). LOVE both the Pocket D VIP and the Jump Pack.

Cyborg Booster - got this on my second account, mainly for my son. Self Destruct is cool, but not something I use regularly.

Magic Booster - Mystic Fortune is a really cool idea, and I will probably pick that up at some point. It would fit on my Emp, as would the costumes really.

Science Booster...eh, this might be good for some concepts, but none that I currently have.

Martial Arts - I will probably get this at some point on both accounts. Ninja Run just seems too handy.

Mac Edition - not sure why I haven't gotten this already, outside of just being really cheap (though for $20 it still comes with a month of play, right?). Mission Teleporter seems well worth $5.

Wedding Pack - really sweet costumes. But, just costumes and emotes.

Really I think I am more into the utility powers - powers that are convenient but don't give a competitive advantage - than emotes (I've never really used emotes) or costumes, even if the costumes are really spiffy.

Suggestions:
Super Packs Done Right
Influence Sink: IO Level Mod/Recrafting
Random Merit Rolls: Scale cost by Toon Level

They don't call the game affecting releases "boosters". They call them "expansions".

So, this may not be exactly the most popular stance on my part, but what the hey.

As long as they kept on producing quality free issues like they do now, I'd easily pay $20 or so once or twice a year for a 'paid issue'. As long as they didn't stick any gameplay mechanics or any big 'plot' developments into the thing I'd be cool with it. Just a new zone, a 10 level span of dev created content and perhaps a themed costume piece or something.

I'd be ok with each side getting one purchaseable EAT, or even them both sharing one. One would probably be my limit on that one, and if it wasn't a balanced AT I'd have issues too as would, I'm sure, many people.

The only real line I'd draw for purchaseable stuff would be power pools and powersets I think, although those are (apparently) fine if they're included in a big expansion of some sort (whee GR!). Also, as I said earlier, as long as this stuff was in addition to new free content I'd be just fine and dandy with it.

I'm usually quite willing to pay for an appetizer or desert as long as I still get my dinner.

My booster pack wants:

* New Monstrous Heads: different wolf and lizard takes, an insect head, a "slime" head that looks like melting wax, a cardboard box with a face drawn in crayon upon it, a Hilary Clinton mask

* New "Set" Costume Pieces: British Punk Rocker set, Cowboy set (chaps, leather vest, Stetson, holster belt), 60's Love-In Hippie Set (bell bottoms and tie dye), and the Emperor's New Clothes set.... ::whistles innocently::

* New Prestige Travel Powers: Hoverboard/skateboard/jet skates (requires Superspeed), flying surfboard/perma-jetpack/mini-jet (requires fly), spring boots/mini-catapult/swift-kick-in-the-can (requires super jump), hitchhiker's thumb/"beam-me-up-Scotty"/rip in reality's fabric (requires teleport), Free Lifetime Paragon City Bus Pass (requires psychiatric evaluation)

* New Dance Emotes: The Swim, The Alligator, The Macarena, Country Line Dancing and Mosh Pit Dancing... actually that last one could also be a new melee set for Scrappers and Brutes.

* New Costume Change Emote: The "Oops Wrong Closet" emote... basically you go to change outfits but get the wrong one.. in action the character gives a thumbs up then vanishes in a cloud of smoke... the system does a costume creator Randomize and the character appears wearing it.. they scream in humiliation then vanish again to reappear in the correct outfit

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

I have only one avatar, and I've still gotten all the packs, even though I've not actually used any of the costume parts at all - so I'll get CoH stuff, even if I don't need it

stuff I've paid for:

GvE pack
Magic booster
Cyborg booster
Ninja booster

So I won't buy just whatever they throw out there.
Of the ones I have there's usually one thing I think is SUPER COOL that justifies the buy. GvE has the Sinister Boots, which are my favorite red side footwear. Magic has that awesome skull face. Cyborg has the combat auras, and while it isn't wildly useful I love the self destruct power. And Ninja Run is just the best thing ever.
