What would you pay for?
*Sobs uncontrollably*
KILL ME NAO!
I'm not fooling anyone. I would buy just about any extras they dangled in front of me.
Though I'm a sucker for costume pieces. ![]() |
Temp powers are cool to, Ninja Run is PURE AWESOME!
But I buy the Temp Jet Booster every month . . .
I have only one avatar, and I've still gotten all the packs, even though I've not actually used any of the costume parts at all - so I'll get CoH stuff, even if I don't need it

Full length skirts, gowns & robes. I don't care if it's a clipping/animation nightmare -- I'm paying my $10 so figure it out!

A costume pack called 'Enemy mine'
Basically it would have a large number of costume pieces used by signature group (not signature character) NPCs. Carnival of Shadows mask and Bustier, Freakshow chest detail and arms, 5th Column/Council helmet and chest details and so on. It would be a huge costume pack which focuses on bits and pieces rather than entirely themed costumes, due to the amount of costume pieces in it there would be no emotes or special powers. |
2) The Sybil Dresses from Cimeroa. I cannot in words describe how much I want those available to my characters.

Tourst pack
Better Camera Emorte
Hulu Emote
Ukalalie Emote
Hawaiian shirts
Grass Skirts
Male Shorts
Tied Towel Skirt
Lei necklaces
Water only Surfing Travel power

The Resistance has boobs too, and better hair!
I havent seen a whole lot that i wanted from the packs. I bought the valk pack for the wings and such but that was it. I havent seen anything too amazing yet in terms of what these packs offer. Hopefully they will get some amazing stuff in the next couple.
I only bought the Mac pack. They got me with the free month ... and I thought the Valkyrie cape and the Mission Teleporter could be worth $5.
I have bought none of the others, though I would pay for remote WW access. Given that the WW barely works and is pretty buggy, I would be surprised if they could build a remote version.
I would also pay to get rid of the 30 second logout time, but I hear that is going away in the future (I have lots of alts that I trade with)
I would happily pay for extra content as well, such as GR
I'd pay $9.99 for the "Scarlett Johannsen sits in my lap" emote.
I would absolutely love to get some frilly clothes to be able to make more anime-type characters. Lots of lacy dresses and ribbons for Magical Girls and Maids, and jackets/shirts with ruffled sleeves and chests for the poet/casanova type Bishounen. (Lelouche from Code Geass, or Jack from Pandora Hearts come to mind)

Also, back pieces. Particularly wind-up keys. Give me both of these and I could finally make a proper costume for my ancient clockwork doll! Heck, you could easily do an entire clockwork/steampunk pack. <Insert obligatory Nemesis plot joke here to save other people the trouble.>
Just no cravats. I have an unnatural hatred for them.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Anime Mech armor - booster pack!

Prometheus: ... so what I told you was true, from a certain point of view.
Me: From a certain point of view?
Prometheus: You're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on your point of view.
Me: You're right about that. Power Blast is very pretty from a certain point of view. But that point of view is not head-on. <Kaboom> - Arcanaville.
I still cling to the hope that the mutant-themed booster pack will contain all of the missing anthropomorphics parts: horse, dog/wolf, bull, squirrel, bird, raccoon, skunk, and weasel heads and ears and tails, bear heads, and big "paw" gloves. (Also: monstrous fur legs and feet for female characters under bottoms with skin.) Seriously, how weird is it that the only animal-themed heroes and villains we can make are cats, bunnies, lizards, reptiles, and insects?
If the mutant-themed pack is something else, then I hope that they release a pack like this one separately. They could call it the Well of the Furries pack.
I really want more animal costumes. Birds and bulls/minotaurs would be nice.
I'd also like some Freakshow robotic arms and the ability to use robotic arms with sleeveless jackets, robes, and trenchcoats.
You know what I want the most? A Josh "Shag" Agle -themed booster pack. Costume parts, mostly: fezz hat,

Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
This is one of the big ones I've been wanting for a while. Perhaps it's my fluctuating amounts of goth/Victorian characters.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Has anyone in this thread mentioned a guitar emote? Or just some musical instrument emotes in general? Maybe a variety guitars--acoustic for the folkies, steel for delta blues and a variety of electrics for whatever.
But, to me, having an electric guitar emote alone is easily worth 10 bucks.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!
If I became a red name, I would be all "and what would you mere mortals like to entertain me with today, mu hu ha ha ha!" ~Arcanaville
I'd like a hug and a kiss emote, but I don't think multi-avatar emotes are possible.
A pat on the back emote would be possible - you'd just need to move yourself close enough to the person you wanted to pat.
I'd also like a curtsey emote, because bowing is too manly
@Golden Girl
City of Heroes comics and artwork
Or the maternal fornicatin' kazoo! Now that would be truly canned awesome!

Going Rogue booster with pre-release access to GR costumes + a beta invite
![]() But, on a more serious note, I'll buy pretty much anything that isn't temporary (like the Jetpack booster). |
I'm with DumpleBerry though. I have all the booster/item packs (on both accounts) and would get any others just to have them. I don't immediately think of things to do with new costume pieces but if I get an idea, I don't want to be restricted (especially when it's not necessary). But then, I'm an old EQ1 player and it wasn't uncommon for me (as well as a few other guild members or officers) to pony up for new expansions for guildmates who may not have been able to afford them at release. Being a week or two behind when an expansion releases can really negatively affect your play experience (and force your guildmates who were there at expansion launch to then go back to help you get up to speed).
Aura Familia has a point though. There will always be critics. I got blasted by my own mother when I bought my X-Men Children of the Atom game ("A full size video game? REALLY?"), even though she knows how I am. If I want it, I get it, end of story. Other people's opinions matter little to me. A $10 purchase here doesn't even render a thought in my mind (other than "Gimme"). I bought the Ninja pack (twice) before I even looked at the features of it.

I'd pay for jet boots ... not the rocket boots we have now, but boots like they had in the PPD Costume at Christmas. That rocked!
I'd also buy the jetpack if they'd offer it as a one-time fee instead of a 30 day rental. Given that they have now removed the level restriction to go into the Shard, I don't see why it would be unbalanced to offer it as a one-time price since anyone can get a jetpack if they want one without even doing the low level radio/newspaper mishs.

Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
Instead of running around and doing all the accolades things, if someone wants to buy that time and get them for money, it would be exactly like the casual games market. Avoid the grind, just pay up.
This could probably be a good source of income for COH
Moving, swishy tails. I would be tempted to pay out the *** for them.
Is anyone else noticing the rate of boosters being released seems to be increasing? If they keep this up, they might be able to push GR or an issue up way far.
The ability to change primary and secondary powersets on a lvl 50 character, since that is where all my badges are (including all those that you can't get any more). Willing to pay up to $80 for that kind of full respec too.
